A/N:

We've hit 60 chapters! Can you believe it? Cause I surely can't. I want to thank you all for your unconditional amount of love and support throughout this whole book. I know it's been a couple of months since I've last given you a proper update, I hope this makes up for the long wait.

Another thing, I'm sorry for the crappy ending; I wasn't sure how to end the chapter, so I apologise for that.

Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy.

Slowly but surely, our friends and family members who had been invited to Scarlett's little birthday party began to fill up the house. Whilst Harry entertained our guest, I remained upstairs giving my daughter her midday feeding.

As she lay in my arms, I lovingly looked over her gorgeous features and thought to myself I am the luckiest woman in this earth to be able to call this baby girl my daughter. It's really been a year full of laughs, tears, and getting to know her, but most importantly, it's been a year full of loving this little girl.

"You make me so happy, Scarlett Anne. You're everything I've ever wanted; you and your Daddy are everything I've ever wanted. Thank you for choosing me to be your Mummy. You're the best thing to have ever happened to me, angel." I breathed out down to Scarlett who was staring up at me intently as I talked, her little fist resting close to her chubby cheek as she continued to nurse happily.

"I hope you're having a good first birthday. Daddy's been so excited for today. I know he's also a little sad you're growing up. Don't worry though, I've already told him he's got nothing to worry about cus you'll always be his little girl. Isn't that right, baby?" I cooed gently, running the pads of fingers over Scarlett's soft little hand that rested against my collarbones.

When I looked away from my baby girl, I caught sight of her father leaning against the doorway with the softest of smiles on his face and his green eyes misty; he overheard me talking to our girl and he's crying. Classic Harry.

"How much did you hear?" I groaned playfully, lifting my feet from the small barstool so Harry could sit on it instead.

"Everything." He confessed cheekily, though a couple of tears ran down his cheeks when he grinned. I reached out with my free hand and wiped away the little droplets from his cheeks, causing him to lean into my palm cutely.

"I love you and I'm so happy you're the mother of my daughter. I really can't imagine my life without you two. You gave me the most perfect baby on this earth and for that I am eternally thankful." Harry voiced softly, both of his hands gripping onto my thighs as he leaned forward to brush our lips together before doing the same over our baby girl's chubby cheeks, causing her to giggle against my breast adorably.

"Now you're going to make me cry!" I laughed, a teary laugh at that.

Harry chuckled warmly, his eyes bright and full of happiness. I don't think he's ever looked as handsome as he does right now. Truly.

When Scarlett was done nursing, Harry and I joined our friends and families back downstairs where the first thing I did was go find Anne and my Mum and thanked them for having kept everyone entertained whilst H and I were gone.

I passed off Scarlett to her Uncle Niall the second she began to squirm in my arms for his attention. The Irish man cackled loudly at the pout that formed on Scar's face when he didn't grab her quick enough for her liking. Once my birthday girl was in her uncle's grasp, she was a happy little girl once again.
