HARRY
It's been quite a busy few weeks for me. Having to take a short break from tour to perform in Shanghai, China for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, I think it's okay for me to say I need a good couple of days to rest and regain my energy.
My girls are both still sleeping. For some reason, I can't seem to fall asleep. Maybe it's because of the time change or because I've got to much on my mind, whatever the reason may be, I can't fall asleep.
As quietly and softly as I could as to not wake up neither of my girls, I got up from the large king sized bed and made my way out of the master bedroom and into the living room, where I went ahead and laid on the couch.
"Can't sleep?"
Glancing over to the hallway that lead to the bedrooms, stood Alexandra, one of my long sleeved sweatshirts covering her curvy body.
I flashed her a lazy grin, and motioned for her to come lay with me on the rather large couch.
"As much as I want to, I can't seem to fall asleep." I sighed into her hair, Alex's cheek nuzzled into my chest.
"What's the matter, bub? What's on your mind?" She hummed, her fingers trailing up and down my arm in a soothing, gentle manner.
"How do you know something's bothering me?" I chuckled, planting a kiss on the crown of her head.
"You're my fiancé, I know you better than you know yourself." She giggled knowingly. Huffing playfully, I threaded my fingers through her curly hair.
"I'm just nervous for the show. I can just see all of the tabloids talking about all of my 'flings' and I being in the same place.. It annoys me so much every time people spread or believe rubbish rumours. They should know by now I am happily engaged to the love of my life, and I also happen to be infatuated with our baby girl. Can't they just give false news and drama a rest?" I confessed in one big breath.
Alexandra, having been listening intently to what I had just told her, sat up in my lap so she was facing me and cupped my face in her hands.
"As much as both of us hate it, the media is always going to talk negatively about us. That's their job; delivering news, wether it's true or false. You can't really do much about it. As long as us and the people around us know the truth, that's all that should matter. Yes, I'll admit, it does hurt at times having to read such crazy stories they come up with, but at the end of the day, I know they're all fake. You know why I don't let it bother me as much as it used to? Because I have you and our amazing baby girl. If you're scared of me leaving you or loving you any less because of all the crazy things the media likes to say, don't. I love you the same if not more than what I loved you yesterday, and tomorrow I'll be loving you even more." She assured, all the whole holding eye contact with me.
This girl, I swear. She's something else. I don't know who I'd be without her. She is my soulmate. She's my other half. She's everything to me, along with our baby girl. Hearing her speak those reassuring words to me, I realised that as long as I have her and Scarlett, nothing else should matter to me. I have an incredible career, amazing friends, a perfect family. I don't need anything else.
"I love you so much." I murmured to her, Alexandra grinned hugely and launched forward to kiss me happily.
"And I love you, my love. I love you to the moon and back!"
