Alexandra's P.O.V

Our day has been pretty relaxing and quiet. After we had lunch, I went upstairs with Scarlett for her afternoon nursing.

Being careful of my tiny girl, I sat on the bed and proceeded to accommodate myself on the bed and got on with the usual routine.

"You're a hungry little bug today, aren't you?" I smiled down at her, Scarlett's gaze fixed on my face.

"Wait until Daddy hears about this; he's going to be so happy!" I continued to croon over my baby girl.

Scarlett tightened the hold she had on my shirt as she continued to nurse, her little eyelids dropping in the process.

I sat on the bed with Scarlett attached to my chest for a while, taking in the special bonding time I have with her and feeling so lucky to be a Mum; her Mum. My life is so blessed right now, I don't think it's possible to be filled with so much love for a tiny person like her.

A knock at the door brought me out of my thoughts, causing me to look up to see who it was.

"Hi baby," Harry smiled lazily as he sat down besides me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hi bubs, what's going on?" I hummed, leaning into his embrace.

"I was just watching some telly with Robin. Mum went out to buy some stuff for dinner later on. Gemma also called and informed us that they'll be here at around 16:00 (4:00 pm), she said they were going to stop to buy some things for Scarlett." He murmured against my neck.

Looking down at Scarlett, who was just finished nursing, I cradled her to my chest and began to burp her.

"I should've known they were going to do that." I chuckled quietly as to not wake up our daughter.

Harry mumbled something I couldn't quite understand before laying down on the left side of the bed.

"Are you tired, H?" I teased, kissing the side of Scarlett's head.

"Little bit... I think I'm going to stay up here and take a nap with Scar." He murmured, patting the middle of the bed for me to lay our daughter.

I chuckled fondly at him, leaning forward to gently place my baby in the middle of the bed next to her father and after standing up from the bed, throwing a soft blanket over them both.

"Have a nice rest my angels, I love you."

"You made it!" I squealed the second Gemma entered her Mum's home.

"Indeed I did! I missed you darling. How are you?" She grinned as she pulled me into a long, warm hug.

"I missed you too! I'm great; I'm very happy to be here. How are you doing?" I smiled happily as she dragged me upstairs and into her room.

"How was your drive down here?" I asked after taking a seat on her bed and watching her open up her luggage to put her clothes in the drawers.

"It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. There wasn't a lot of traffic which I was happy about. When we were on our way to the store, it was drizzling a little bit. Other than that, it wasn't bad at all!" She commented, a goofy smile on her face which made her look an awful lot like her brother.

"I'm glad babes. I'm happy you're here and we get to spend some time together." I murmured softly, smiling warmly at Gemma when she nudged my leg with hers.

"Me too. I've been dying to see you guys. Specially my little angel: speaking of her, where is she?" She wondered as she finished closing up all of her drawers.

"She's taking a nap with her father. They should be waking up in a bit." I informed her, slinging my legs on her lap when she sat next to me.

"Aw! Can I go see her?" She squealed loudly, causing me to laugh at her excitement.

Chuckling quietly, I nodded my head.

"Go ahead, Gems. I'll be there in a bit."

A/N: I know, it's been ages since I've last updated. Buuut, I have a reason for that. School has been a pain in the 🍑. I've had so much homework, I hardly have time for anything 😭. But I promise you guys, I'll try my best to update from now on.
