Our weekend was over, and I had to go back to school. I didn't want to. That place was hell for me. Fake people judging you, being underestimated, the pressure of getting good grades... Who actually likes that? The people who don't suck at life, I guess. Anyway, I had to do it, and I had my ways to get through every day. Smile. Nobody cares if you don't mean it, just smile. It's easier.

So I got up early, I washed my hair, put on my uniform and caught the bus. I fell asleep listening to music for the two hour long ride the way I usually did. I got to my first class, had recess, more classes, then lunch. That's when things got weird.

My boyfriend and I got in line to get our lunch. I was lost in my own thoughts. Most of them were about Brendon, this amazing guy I was in love with. He made me happy. He loved me despite my many flaws, and I was thankful for that. I stared at him, still not being able to believe that this amazing human being chose me, the most imperfect girl on planet earth.

I was a vegetarian, so Brendon usually had to wait for me a couple minutes while they gave me my lunch. It was veggie lasagna. Yay! I absolutely loved it. We sat down and started eating, talking and laughing. When I was halfway through my lasagna he was already done, so he got up to give back his tray.

I kept eating my lasagna, when someone sat in front of me, across the table. I looked up, and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the girl from the beach. What? I'd never seen her at school before. What was she doing here?

"Hey" she said, smiling. I was so shocked, but I tried to look relaxed.

"Hi" I said, giving her a little smile.

"So I know it's kind of weird seeing me here, so I'll be brief" she started. "I saw you at the beach, and I think I got the message. Do you like my body?"

Okay, this was weird.

"Um, yeah... I mean, I think you got the wrong message. I don't like your body in that way, you're just hot" I said, feeling a little awkward.

"Yeah, I know. That's what I meant" she chuckled. "I was asking because I can help you have a body like mine"

This got interesting.

"Um, okay?" I said.

"But if I'm going to help you, we have to be friends" Were this her only terms and conditions?

"Why?" I asked. Not that I wouldn't like to be friends with her, but it was pretty damn strange. This girl I've seen once in my life tracks me down and says she wants to help me get the body of my dreams.

"Because friends trust each other, and I need you to trust me if you really want my help" she said. Good enough.

"Okay, I'll be your friend" I said.

"Great!" She smiled. "What's your name?"

"I'm Marianne. What's your name?"

Before she could reply, I looked up and saw Brendon standing behind her, giving me a weird look.

"Who are you talking to?" He asked, like he didn't see the girl sitting right there.

"Um..." I said, speechless and confused.

"Nice to meet you Marianne, I'm Ana"
