It was the next morning and the sun was shining through Conrad's blinds. I "accidentally" fell asleep in Conrad's room last night after we watched High School Musical. I lean over to his bedside table to check the time on my phone; 8:28 am. I feel Conrad tighten his grip around my waist as I move. making me smile.
"G'morning" he says, his voice raspy. I turned around so I'm now facing him.
"It's 8:30, I promised my mum we'd go for a muffin run for belly's birthday." I say as I kiss his cheek to wake him up. wanting him to take me because I didn't want to drive.
"Why can't laurel go, it's her kid." I roll my eyes, he laughs at my reaction. He leans in and kisses me on the lips, smiling into it.
"And she's my sister Con, just take me please. It'll be quick and then we can go back to bed until she wakes up in like 2 hours." He considers my offer for a few seconds. After around 10 seconds of us just staring into each other's eyes he speaks up.
"Okay Ell, let's get up." he starts to sit up and pulls the covers off of his body. I do a little victory dance when I stand up. Conrad lets a little laugh slip.
"Hey, don't laugh at me mate." I walked around his bed to hug him. needing one from this fine man on this fine morning. He puts his arms around my waist and mine go around his neck.
"I do it with love, Stells." blush rushes to my cheeks, being very noticeable based on his reaction. He leans down and kisses me a few times on my lips.
"okay i'll go get ready. meet me downstairs in 10 minutes." I kissed him one more time and ran out of his room and straight into mine.
