Mikey's pov:

The portal led us back home since the sun had risen again, I sat down on the couch and closed my eyes. We still hadn't found Donnie, we'd spent so long looking for him and we still didn't find him... "Really? Wooliam?" Raph looked at Leo. "Even for your one liners, that was bad."

"I'm sorry, let me just have a whole comedy routine for the man when I want to find my twin and don't want to waste any time doing anything else." Leo flopped onto the couch beside me. "Let me just get a Master's Degree in comedy to cater to your entertainment needs. I apologize, this is completely on me, I forgot that I'm supposed to be the funniest person in the entire world while in such a stressful situation. Please, allow me to change myself for you so I can be funny enough."

"That's not what I- what?" Raph was completely confused by that. "I'm not trying to make you change yourself or be funnier or anything like that, I'm just saying-"

"Just shut up, Raph." Leo got up and stormed out of the room to his own room. Why was he so mad at Raph? We'd all done everything we could, Raph let himself be alone with the enemy without knowing what would happen, and Raph tried to help us out time and time again, why was Leo mad at him of all people? If anyone, he should've been mad at me out of anyone. I was the one that could've gone with Donnie but didn't, I was the one that kept asking for breaks, and I was the one that went searching with him. If anyone was at fault for not finding anything at all, it was me, it was my fault Donnie went missing. 

"Don't worry, Mikey, he'll come back in and be okay." Raph hugged me. Why was he comforting me when I wasn't the one that got yelled at? Why wasn't he taking care of himself and just worrying about us instead? "I'll get some food ready, then you two need to go to sleep. I'll get some bags ready for our search tomorrow so that we don't have to go hungry while looking for Donnie. We can't do as well if we're hungry and we can eat while walking."

"You're gonna sleep too, right?" I somehow knew that he would probably work himself to death if no one made sure he didn't.

"Of course I am, don't worry." Raph patted my head and smiled softly. "Now you get some water and do something to destress, I'll handle things. Raph's got this." I wasn't so sure that he could handle everything on his own, but it wasn't like I had any other choice on the matter. He probably didn't want me to worry, but everything that he said only made me worry more. 

"Okay." I nodded reluctantly. I couldn't force him to do anything he didn't want to at the moment, it was only going to make things worse. He went to the kitchen and I grabbed some water, taking a few sips while thinking. Donnie was probably dead, I didn't know why everyone else wasn't accepting it but I couldn't tell them what I thought about it. They'd probably worry about me or something, I wasn't going to do anything to worry them just yet. They didn't deserve to have my issues dumped on them. I wanted my big brother back but I was probably never going to get him back. I just wanted to find signs of where he went before he died so I could figure out who did it and make them pay. I heard something break in the kitchen and ran to it, there was a broken glass in there. "Are you okay, Raph?" Raph was staring at it.

"Yeah, I'm okay, buddy. I just uh... it slipped from my hand because I didn't hold onto it hard enough." Raph chuckled. I knew he was lying, I didn't know why he'd lie but he probably still didn't want me to worry. "I finished making food, I was just going to get some water. I'll clean up the broken glass, okay? Can you let Leo know food's ready please?"

"Mhmm." I nodded, then went to Leo's door and knocked. Something was wrong with Raph but I couldn't figure out what it was exactly. I had a little idea, but I didn't know enough to help.

"Hello?" Leo's voice was slightly muffled, his face was probably in a pillow. Maybe he'd been crying? I didn't want to bring it up, the last thing he needed was me bothering him even more.
