"AH, MISS STARK. COME IN" Dumbledore said as Khianna opens the door to his office walking in. And there also sat McGonagall.
"Granny" Khianna smiled greeting the other.
"First day and you have already been kicked out of two classes?" McGonagall asked with a dead serious expression on her face which made the girl gulp as she sat down on the chair next to McGonagall.
"It wasn't my fault, Gran. Someone kept sending this stupid letters which were full of nonsense and it got me into trouble because it was disturbing the class—"
"Oh, I've heard" McGonagall cuts you off "So, who is it?" McGonagall asked cheekily.
Making Khianna whine, "Granny!" The older woman only chuckled at her granddaughter's reaction.
"I am just messing with you" McGonagall laughs.
"So, how will I get home?" Khianna asked looking at the Headmaster of Hogwarts.
Dumbledore looked at McGonagall as the other only nodded. Khianna didn't exactly get what those looks mean. But, it probably meant—
"Bad news, Dear" Dumbledore stated, sighing.
Bad news.... Great.
"What do you mean bad news, Headmaster?" Khianna asked making her go to the edge of her sit, figuratively.
"We found your broken time turner in bits and pieces. The parts aren't even complete. Hagrid and Mr. Filch are both doing their very best in finding the missing pieces" Dumbledore informed the young girl making her sigh in frustration.
Khianna runs a hand through her golden brown hair in frustration, eyes closed shut. Cursing Bellatrix in her mind.
"Fixing it will take sometime. You would be able to get home in the end of the school year or the start of the school year. Finding and obtaining another time turner won't be easy as well" McGonagall explained to her granddaughter. Both of them watch as the girl leans back on the chair.
"I need to get home, pronto" Khianna spoke in a begging tone.
"We know, dear but it's not as easy as you may think" Dumbledore said. No one notice the doors of the Headmaster's office open a bit. No one notice the young Mavis McGonagall there as they were too immersed in the conversation.
"And for the meantime that you are in 1976, you will study here like any other student. You will blend in and live a temporary life here"
Dumbledore suggested. Making Mavis from upon what she heard.
"You shall not do anything irrational that would change the time, understood?" McGonagall asked her granddaughter.
"Yes, Granny. I understand" Khianna answered.
Hearing Khianna's voice made Mavis gasped in shock. Earning the three of them to look behind to see Mavis. McGonagall and Khianna stood up to their feet.
