        "SO, HOW WAS YOUR DATE?" SIRIUS asked placing an arm around Khianna and James' shoulder.

"Yeah, how was it?" Peter asked the two innocently.

"I hope both of you didn't have too much fun" Remus mumbled.

"Remus!" Khianna gasped in shocked making the boys all laugh but their fun was cut off by Mavus calling out for Khianna.

"Khianna?"

They all turned to look to see Mavis standing there in her pajamas. "Hey, Mave—"

"Could you boys leave us alone?" Mavis asked.

"Uh, yeah sure" James said as Sirius lets go of the couple. James placing a soft peck on Khianna's cheek. "I'll wait for you in the common room" James whispers to Khianna's ear before walking away with the rest of the Marauders but Remus stayed back behind.

"Mom, is there something wrong?" Khianna asked.

Mavis just smiled at her, "Follow me" Mavis said as she walked off. Khianna looks at Remus who shrugged his shoulder. The two of them trailed behind Mavis as an awful thick silence engulf all of them.

SMACK!

"Mavis McGonagall!"

"Mavis!"

Both Remus and McGonagall said at the same time after Mavis' palm collided with Khianna's cheek. Khianna was shocked as she held her throbbing cheek. That stinged a lot. That was one hell of a slap.

"What was that for?!" Khianna asked looking at her mother.

"What was that for!? Where have you been, young lady!?" Mavis asked looking really pissed off. She looked like someone who didn't sleep and you bothered them to make them this crazy.

"Do you know how worried we were? We looked everywhere! We called everyone we knew! We were going crazy trying to find you!!!" Mavis yelled as she walked back and forth in anger. But her anger was coming somewhere reasonable. She is a mother after all. Khianna's mother.

"Khianna, do you only think about yourself!?" Mavis asked her daughter. Remus grabbed Mavis by the forearm.

"Mavis, enough" Remus said.

Khianna could only stare at the floor as she got her first scold from her Mother. She stared at the floor, tears threatening to fall. She worried Mavis. She made her mother go crazy worried. But for the first time, she has a mother who worries about her.

"What if something happened to you? Have you forgotten about your condition? Have you forgotten that anything you do could affect the fucking timeline!?"

Khianna only flinched.

"Have you forgotten about your weak heart?! Have you forgotten that you aren't from here!?"

A tear dropped from Khianna's eyes.

"So whatever you have with James? Those feelings you have for fucking Potter will kill you" Mavis stated straightforwardly.

Khianna looks up to Mavis as she says "I'm sorry, Mom..."

"I'm so sorry, Mom" Khianna walks to Mavus hugging her "I'm so sorry... so sorry" Khianna cried on Mavis chest, softly.

Mavis felt tears leaving her eyes as she embraces Khianna "I love you, Honey. Me, Your Granny, Remus... We all love you" Mavis whispered to her daughter. Emotional.

"I don't want to lose you..." Mavis said knowing that it was inevitable with Khianna being from the future.

"I know.... and I'm so sorry, Mom" Khianna said pulling away meeting her Mom's electric blue eyes. "And I love you too, Mom... so much"

Khianna finally said it. She craved for a mother all her life. Even if Pepper was there, she just wanted to feel what it felt to have her  Mother by her side.

"I love you all so so much" Khianna looks at Remus and McGonagall who both smiled at her.

"And I know that you are afraid to lose me after all that we shared..." Khianna looks back at her Mom "I'm afraid too..." Khianna whispered, lips quivering.

"From everything that I have learned.... it is fear that will kill me. Not love or hope because if there is one thing I am sure of your love and hope are the biggest reason why I am still alive" Khianna said. It is true. Love and Hope are the one thing that keeps everyone fighting back in the future. Because Love and Hope is the one thing that Voldemort will never have.

"Now, one more person will add to that love and hope..." Khianna smiles, chuckling at the thought of her love "I have one more reason why I want to keep on fighting"

Khianna placed a hand on her chest, "One more reason why my heart is not giving up"

"James loves me, Mom. Like how you all love me" Khianna said  "And I promise, Mom. That this won't be the death of me" Before hugging Mavis again.

McGonagall joined in the hug as well as Remus.

And Khianna will stay true her promise. She will continue to fight. She will never stop fighting to live for her friends, her family.... for James.
