Ponyboy had invited you on a date to watch sunsets with him, a date you had both been really enjoying... until the peace and quiet was broken by the loud arrival of the rest of the greasers.

"The sunset looks so beautiful," you whispered.
Ponyboy placed his hand on your cheek, looking down at your lips. "I know something even more beautiful."
He leaned in to kiss you, but before his lips could brush yours, you both looked up when you heard loud wolf-whistling and shouting.
"Ooh, Pony's got a girlfriend," called Two-Bit with a whistle.
"How do you do, gorgeous?" said one of the greasers you hadn't yet met. You gave him your hand to shake, but to your surprise, he kissed it. "I'm Dallas Winston."
"Come on, Dally," warned Soda, "don't kiss my kid brother's girlfriend."
"Girlfriend?" You noticed this voice to be Darry. "Ponyboy, you told me that you and (Y/N) were just friends. You're too young to be dating girls. You're still in school. You should be focusing on your studies."
Pony groaned and pulled you close into his chest. "Consider this date ruined."
Laughing, you looked up at the sunset and then back at the boy next to you. You smiled softly.
"It's not ruined, Pony. Any time with you could never be ruined."
