You and Ed had been at a party that was beginning to die down in the early hours of the morning. The two of you were sat alone together in the kitchen, drunkenly continuing a game of Truth or Dare that had been started several hours ago.

"Your go. Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Ok, who do you like?"

"Well, I like a lot of people," you replied.

"No, (Y/N). I mean who do you like?"

You gave an elongated 'ohh' sound of realisation. "What makes you ask?"

Ed gave a slight laugh. "Brad wanted me to ask you. He thought you might tell me, because we're good friends."

"Since when does Brad like me?"

"Since Fight Club."

You drunkenly hushed Ed. "Shh, don't you remember the first rule of Fight Club? Besides, too bad, Brad." You giggled at your rhyme.

"You don't like him?"

"No, dummy, I like you."

Ed blinked. "Me?"

"Why do you think I'm still here even though everyone else has gone home? The only person I came to see tonight was you."

Blushing slightly, Ed gave an embarrassed smile. He looked away and it turned into a grin.

"What are you so happy about?"

Ed continued grinning widely. "First of all," - he leaned forward and so did you, your lips meeting in a kiss - "that. Second of all, I told Brad you liked me not him. He owes me 10 bucks."
