You were at Gary and Wyatt's party and had gone to get a drink from the punch bowl, when your ex started talking to you, much to your annoyance. This caused Gary, who had spent most of the last year pining after you, extremely jealous.

"Why's (Y/N) even talking to him?" Gary asked Wyatt drunkenly. "I'm going to fight him."
Wyatt shook his head with a laugh at his friend. He picked him up and tried to move him away, before anything stupid happened due to Gary's intoxicated state. "Come on. Let's get you a nice lie down."
"But he deserves it. He's an asshole!"
"Trust me, (Y/N) knows. It's only a matter of time before she tells him to get lost and - "
A yell was heard and the two friends turned to see your ex creeping his hand up your leg and you punching him in the face, breaking his nose.
"I told you she hates him!" Wyatt grinned victoriously.
"Can I fight him now?"
Letting go of Gary, Wyatt nodded. "Yeah, go get him, man!"
