The sun's rays stirred me awake and I shuffled into the pillow next to me.
My pillow smelled wonderful until it tapped me on the head.
"Aurora, please wake up."
Who the hell-
"AHHHHHH!!"I screamed and thumped off the bed.
His sleepily face peered over the bed.
"Are you all right?" He asked.
"I AM NOT-"I froze as I saw he was shirtless, revealing tattoos that I had no idea he had. If he was shirtless then...
I quickly covered my body with my hands and yelled.
"PERVERTED PSYCHO!!! I'M GOING TO RIP YOUR DI-"
"Aurora, you're fully dressed. Only I'm not wearing a shirt.." He yawned.
I sighed in relief as I looked down at myself.
"WHERE IN THE WORLD AM I?!?"
He shrugs as he looks around.
"I have no idea."
I swiftly stood up and took a glance around. This appeared to be a hotel room.
"And, um, not to cause any panic or anything but did you marry me?" On his ring finger was a rose-gold ring with a little gemstone embedded alternately..
"What makes you think I'd marry-"
"Have a look at your finger."
A rose-shaped ring with similar gemstones in the center sat comfortably on my hand.
"It's all a dream. It's all a dream." I slapped my face in an attempt to wake myself awake, but all I got was a man who couldn't stop laughing.
"DO NOT Laugh!! ARE YOU NOT CONCERNED THAT WE ARE MARRIED?!?"I yelled, completely terrified.
He only grinned and wiped his tears of laughter.
"I'm alright as long as I'm married to you and no one else." He said as he laid on the bed, innocently staring at me. There was nothing innocent about that sentence.
"GOD YOU WEIRD LITTLE BI-"
"Please do not curse." I narrowed my eyes at him as he sneered back.
Who was he to tell me I couldn't curse?!
"Tobias. We married each other!! Aren't you worried about what our parents might say?!?" I paced around the room to de-stress.
"First and foremost, my parents would be overjoyed, and second, you were the one who proposed to me!" He yelled. I took a step back.
"I did not do such a thing!"
"You certainly did!"
"No, I did not!"
"YES, YOU DID! I'VE GOT THE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE THAT PROVES IT!" He tossed the paper at me. Our signatures and the bright yellow seal proved it.
"I DON'T BELIEVE IT!! YOU MIGHT HAVE FORGED IT?!?" I yelled. He sighed.
"Apparently, we did all of it in a marriage hall, and the certificate is entirely genuine, as is the yellow seal."
"WHAT?!!"
"Yup."
"All of this shouldn't be true, right? I was extremely drunk, this shouldn't count!!" I yelled.
"We were both drunk, but it doesn't change the fact that you proposed, I accepted, and now we are married." He crossed his hands across his exposed chest.
