~Next day~
"Tobias!! "I'm going for a swim!" I yelled. Tobias grinned as he gazed up at me.

"All right, let's go!"

"Not you. You are not leaving." I raised my eyebrows and shook my finger.

He sighed and shut the sudoku book.

"Why?"

"Because I need some alone time. Since the moment we boarded this ship, we have been stuck together. So you can't join me." As I strutted in front of him in my bikini, I explained. He licked his lips and ran his fingers through his hair.

"All right, alright, but when you get back, you better get me some food." As he pecked my lips, he said. I smiled and waved him off.

I dashed out of the room and to the swimming pool.

Today was a beautiful warm day with a fresh breeze blowing around.

Which was ideal for swimming!

I plunged my feet into the cool water, sending thrills up my spine.

I relaxed my body as I submerged myself in the water, my hair floating over my head. I got back up and played in the water till I smelled something like burning plastic. What the hell?

I looked at the other passengers to check if they smelt it too but to my disappointment they were just playing or just sunbathing on beach chairs.

The smell wasn't the thing that alerted me but the smell of fish was there too.

Then that must mean it was electrical-

"EVERYONE THERE IS A BURNING ELECTRICAL WIRE SOMEWHERE HERE PLEASE GET OUT OF THE POOL IMMEDIATELY!!!" I yelled. Everyone panicked and jumped out of the pool, including me.

The stench intensified, and a buzzing sound could be heard.

Where the hell was it?!

Everyone swarmed around me, terrified, as I looked for a wire until I eventually located it. A dangerously dangling line hung dangerously above the water. We would have all been electrocuted if someone had accidentally moved or tripped over the line. I called the staff and showed them the wire.

While everyone behind me cursed the poor staff workers for living on a live wire so close to the water. They apologized profusely as they carefully removed the cable.

Even though the wire had been removed, some were still hesitant to enter the water.

To be honest even I was but something wasn't right.

This didn't feel like an accident; it felt like someone tried to electrocute everyone in the water on purpose but failed, and I'm pretty sure it was the same person who switched the chocolate boxes. I searched the ship for any suspicious passengers but found none.

Someone's hands wrapped around my body, causing me to go into fight mode and hit the person in the nose.

"Argh," Tobias muttered, holding his nose.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry," I chanted as I clutched his face. A stream of blood ran down his nose.

"Oh my God, I'm sorry!" I apologized frantically by kissing his cheek several times.

He took a tissue from the table and jammed it up his nose.

"You have a powerful punch. Like dammit." He chuckled, I let out a sigh.

His shoulders sagged as he drew me into his arms and hugged me tightly.

"Thank God, you're fine." He murmured. I closed my eyes and returned his hug.

"Thank goodness for my keen sense of smell, otherwise I and the passengers would have been electrocuted meat." With wide eyes, I said. He hugged me even more tightly.

"I'm never going to leave you alone."

"Well, come on, it's only once-"

"Absolutely not."

"Argh, fine"

As he entwined our fingers, he wrapped a towel around me.

"Well, I realized something from this incident that it is int-,"

"It was intentional," we both said simultaneously.

My eyes widened in surprise as I stared at him. How in the world did he know?

"How do you know that?" I asked. He tucked a wet strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Cutting pliers were used to sever the wire." It seemed to have been cut in a hurry, as if someone was about to catch him. This demonstrates-"

"He was standing with us in the crowd..." In disbelief, I whispered with my hands on my mouth.

"Yes. This demonstrates that someone among us is trying to kill the passengers for some reason." Tobias rubbed the bridge of his nose, agitated.

"Shit"

"So promise me you won't leave without telling me."

"Well, I did say I was going swimming, and this still-"

"Would you like me to follow you around like a personal bodyguard?"

"Don't you do that already?"

"I'm not kidding, Aurora."

"Ok fine, I'll tell you"

"Good girl," he tenderly pecked my forehead. I smiled, but all I could think about was the incident. Why would someone do such a thing?

Why would someone do such a thing?
