~Next day~
I woke up with a terrible hangover and a searing headache.

Tobias was lying on the sofa, one arm grazing the ground and his naked torso barely covered by the blanket.

How did I get to drink so much? And why didn't Tobias stop me?

I picked up a glass and filled it with water before gulping it down.

What the hell happened the day before? As I tried to recall, I held my head in pain.

I'll ask Tobias. I knelt alongside the couch and instantly shook him, waking him up.

"Aurora! god. Are you alright?" He tenderly cupped my face.

I looked at him, confused.

"Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. He sighed.

"Do you recall anything?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Y-You fell into the ocean and I had to save you, and then you puked on me when we were arguing." He answered meekly. And the memories came flooding back. Shit.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed. He shook his head.

"No.. I'm sorry. This would not have happened if I had paid attention to you. It's all my fault." He responded by hugging me, and I hugged him back.

"Are you all right? Are you sure you don't feel anything strange about your body?" He asked, worried for my well-being. I was flushed.

"U-Uh no. Except from the hangover. I'm not feeling anything else."

"Good." He kissed my forehead before moving over to the shower.

In astonishment, I touched my forehead. Another item on my to-do list has been completed.

A hot guy saves me after I jump from a ship. Check..

~Night time~

Tobias seemed off the entire day. Every time his eyes met mine, they would get disheartened as if he were watching me drown in the sea. He looked very guilty.

Therefore, in order to cheer him up and potentially help him forget about the incident, I decided to do something we never got to do.

"Tobias!" I exclaimed loudly. He raised his head from his sudoku puzzle.

"Yes.."

"Let's do the painting thing. We never got the chance!" I suggested.

He looked conflicted.

"Aurora, let's stop doing the things on the list. I don't want one of us to get hurt..."

He was in so much anguish, and it was visible in his eyes.

"Oh, please! My fall was a one-time incident. Everything else on the list is at least somewhat safe.." I grinned. He simply shook his head and returned to his sudoku.

I haven't seen his arrogant smile all day...and for some reason  I'm missing it.

I sat in front of him on the bed, tilting his chin up to face me. He stared at me, confused. I drew his cheeks and poked them to get those dimples that made me melt.

"What are you doing?" he asked.

"Trying to make you smile....You look hideous like this."

He sighed and wrapped his arms around me.

"A piece of my heart broke as I saw you fall off the railing...I thought I'd never see those beautiful hazel eyes of yours...or hear that harsh mouth of yours...It scared me. I don't want to lose you." He clenched his eyes shut.
