~Next day~
The light pouring in through the window stirred me awake.

My eyelids slowly fluttered open, and I looked Tobias in the eyes.

"Tobias!" I cupped his tired face and looked into his eyes.

"Good morning, wifey~" He grinned. I blinked, stunned. He was acting like himself?..

"How are you feeling?"I asked. He laughed.

"Like I was hit by a train. What in the world happened to me?" He sat up straight.

"S-So you don't recall anything from last night?"I asked.

"No? Did I do something wrong?" He asked, confused. A staff worker came in with our breakfast just as I was about to say something.

"Mrs. The nurse told me to give you these!" The staff stated.

I took the dish and water from her grasp.

"A big thank you to the nurse." I cracked a smile. She nodded and walked away.

"Nurse?" Tobias asked. I handed him the water bottle.

"Drink first," I instructed. He sipped the water before returning it to me.

"No, the whole bottle." I squinted my eyes at him.

"But I'm full-"

"Do I look like I care?"I scowled.

Before glancing at me, he gulped down the entire bottle.

"Would you mind explaining-" I shoved a scoop of oatmeal into his mouth.

"Aurora!" he exclaimed. I pushed another scoop in before he could say anything.

"You had a nightmare the night before...A terrible one. You were clutching onto the bedsheet and my hand for dear life, tears and sweat streaming down your cheeks. It looked as if you were giving birth." I replied as I mixed the oats for him before feeding him again. While he chewed on it, he gazed at me with big eyes.

"Well, that explains why I feel like I was hit by a train." He murmured.

"Don't talk while eating." I nagged, and he laughed.

"I love how well you look after me." I rolled my eyes as he grinned.

"Don't overthink it. I'm only doing this because you are weak, and I feel sorry for you." I sighed. He drew me in closer.

"Are you sure that's the only reason?" He beamed. I shoved the oats into his mouth to muffle him. I smiled while he gave me a dirty look.

"Yeah, it is the only reason. Apart from that, you scared me. I thought you died when you went limp at one point." I muttered. His lips curved into a faint smile.

"Are you in love with me?" He grinned. With rage, I pushed the dish of oats to him.

"I try to help you and you say this! You know what? Eat it yourself. I'm leaving!"

I went out of bed, but he tugged me back.

"OK, I'm sorry...Feed me please.." He said embarrassedly. I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"You've got hands. You can feed yourself." I scoffed.

"But, I think I'll feel better if you feed me with your hands." He flashed a dazzling smile. I burst out laughing. He was adorable...

"Fine. Just this once." I took away his bowl and fed him.

"Please do not become a nurse." He laughed.

"Why? Haven't I been taking good care of you?" I scowled.

"I'm being fed by a cute woman with open, wavy brown hair and beautiful red lips. Don't you think people would deliberately try to get sick simply to see you again because I would?" He grinned. My cheeks began to burn.
