~Evening~
We both changed our clothing and rinsed the paint off of them.
We still need to tell the staff that it was us.
~Knock Knock~
"I'll go open it." I stood up. Tobias nodded.
With a cheerful smile, I opened the door. It was the employees..
"Hello," I said with a smile. They were taken aback by my upbeat mood.
Maybe I should tone it down a notch.
"Hello, Mrs. Nightingale, is your husband present?" The blonde man with blue eyes asked. I nodded.
"Please come in." I opened the door a little wider to let them all in.
Tobias smiled as he stood up.
"Mr. Nightingale, we'll go right to why we're here. So there was blood on the floor and bloody heels-"Tobias interrupted them.
"How do you know it's blood?" He cocked his brow. They exchanged glances.
"W-Well-"
"Have you double-checked?" Tobias smirked.
They were all looking down in concentration, their ears slightly reddening.
"But, the heels-"
"Maybe some woman got drunk and had to be dragged out of the mess she was in? Have you considered it?" Tobias teased. Before they left, they all apologized profusely. I burst out laughing.
"You were so cruel, Tobias!" I shoved him. He laughed.
"It's their fault, they didn't think it through!"
Both of us broke out laughing.
"Oh, I can cross this one off the list as well!" I smiled and He nodded.
"Also, do you want to help me make a gift for Lyla?" I asked. He glances at me, confused.
"How in the world-"
~Sometime later~
"OK, this is by far the strangest thing I've ever done." After he finished tying a ribbon around my head, he murmured.
"Which part? The ribbon or Aurora's literal Disney princess outfit?" I grinned.
"No, the part where you're upside down on the ceiling. How did you get up there in the first place?" Incredulous, he asked. I was dangling from the roof by a rope in a stunning Aurora dress with a ribbon tied around my head.
"Oh, I just attached a rope to that hook up there."
"Wasn't there a tiny chandelier there? What happened to it?"
"I removed it for a bit. Take photographs now! I don't think I can hang like this anymore." I moaned. He returned with his phone.
"Can you please put the rose in my mouth?" I smiled. He narrowed his eyes before he inserted the rose into my mouth.
"All right, now take pictures," I muttered. He let out a sigh.
I made a seductive posture by looping my leg over the rope and blew a kiss at the phone. When the door to our room suddenly opened, the staff entered.
She blinked in surprise as her gaze travelled over me. I groaned.
"You folks don't seem to understand the concept of privacy." I grumbled.
Her face flushed before she looked at Tobias, who was still holding the phone.
"I-I come to express my gratitude to Mr. Nightingale for pointing out that it was paint. You saved us a lot of time and effort." She tucked her hair behind her ear with a shy smile. I glared at the girl. Was she trying to flirt?
