~Aurora's pov~

"I'll go look for Tobias, you guys go check out the hole." I said but Rowan held my wrist with a serious look in his eyes.

"No. It's too risky for you-"

"I'm going to be alright. Believe me." As I tried to take his hand off my wrist, I assured him.

"Then I'll accompany you." His pupils narrowed. I let out a sigh.

"Fine. Anna Harry, go check out the hole."

"Got it." They both stated at the same time. Rowan and I set out to find Tobias.

It was considerably more difficult because everyone was panicking.

I'm very sure the killer created the opening in order to distract everyone.

"All right, let's go to the unused cabins. I'm sure they'd be somewhere about there." Rowan stated.

"All right, let's go."

We went down to the lower cabins and decided to divide and conquer. Rowan went to the right, while I walked to the left.

My concern was heightened because all of the doors were locked.

Is he going to be okay?

When I was about to open the last door, I heard a heavy thud against it.

I hurriedly opened it, only to find numerous men on the ground and Tobias holding a bloody baseball bat.

He smiled at the mess as blood spilled onto the floor. I glanced at him in horror. How the hell-

I felt a cold metal against my neck as someone murmured.

"You move, and you die."

I froze, as did Tobias when he saw me.

"Drop your bat, Tobias, or I'll kill your wife." The murderer in a mask threatened.

Tobias smiled as he dropped the bat, irritating the killer.

"What makes you so happy?" He asked. Tobias gestured with his hands above his head.

"I just forgot to tell you...I never had the file with me." Tobias grinned.

The killer gazed at me and pressed the blade deeper into my neck.

"Well, then who has it?"  He asked. Tobias smiled confidently at me.

"She does."

"Wha-"I pushed my elbow into his stomach, knocking the knife from his grip, before pulling out a revolver and pinning him to the ground.

"Of course I do." I smirked as I removed the mask from his face.

The unkempt beard and gloomy eyes...HE WAS THE ONE WHO ATE MY NOODLES?!!

"YOU?!!"I exclaimed. Tobias, too, was staring at the man with his jaw on the ground.

I should have killed him then and there.

"You know what, I'm not going to kill you with my pistol, I'm going to kill you in a different way."

I squeezed on his windpipe, cutting off his oxygen supply and knocking him out.

I stepped away from him and stared at Tobias.

"The ship is sinking, we need to get out." I veered. His eyes widened as he took my hand in his and we both hurried out.

When we arrived on the deck, there were passengers wearing life jackets and boarding a lifeboat.

"All right, let's go find Rowan, Anna, and Harry before we board the boat."
