I have now written ten chapters of this AU... And I'm really wondering if I should take all of them and publish them as their own story alone.
But I still don't know. This doesn't really have any proper plot. It's just me writing things that come to mind with this AU.
I really love this AU, so I'll have to think more about it.
Do you think I should publish this AU on its own? Let me know if you think I should.
The other five drafts, that I've written until now at least, will be published later.
Hope you enjoy!

Conan grumbled at the amused look Haibara was giving him when he arrived. "Not a word," he warned as she grinned at him. His tail swayed behind him, two bright pink bows tied to it. His right ear had a bow as well, matching the ones tied to his tail.
After the dinner at Poirot, Conan had asked to go to Agasa to ask him about something. And because of the better mood after their time, they had allowed him to head out, but only if Agasa fetched him again. Which also meant that he didn't have time to take the bows off as both Azusa and Ran were with him before leaving.
Agasa had reacted as well when seeing the boy when getting him. He had given him a smile, indirectly saying that he was glad the boy was fine, but that it was amusing too.
"Well, shall we get to work?" asked Haibara, but her grin didn't drop, and Conan groaned.
"Hai," responded Conan, rolling his eyes. In an instant, his cat ears and tail became that of a bloodhound. The bows on his tail still hung on him, but the one on his ear had fallen down as it lost its hold from the change.
"I see," said Haibara, walking around the boy again as she studied him. "So it just happened when you thought about being a dog instead?"
"Yeah," answered Conan, but gave a small huff. "It was a joke, though. I didn't actually mean it."
Haibara gave out a hum as she nodded at the information. "What about other dog breeds? Have you tried different ones, or can you only become the bloodhound?"
Conan blinked for a moment, but sighed yet again. He was becoming a bit tired of feeling like a test subject by the girl, but he knew it was necessary. But he was kind of curious himself now. He gave out a tiny hum as he thought of which breed to try out. The dog breeds coming to his mind were the breeds normally used for police dogs, so the belgian malinois was the one which popped up.
He didn't feel any difference in himself, so he eyed Haibara, who had given out a nod. "Belgian malinois, huh?" she asked, but continued to study him.
"Takagi-keiji commented on me being like a police dog from the case earlier today," shrugged Conan in response. "It was the first to come to mind."
"Maybe you should move in with the police then," joked Haibara, but gestured for him to follow her down to the lab. "Already being a police dog as a cat-hybrid. Who knows how you will be as an actual police dog-hybrid."
"Oi, oi," deadpanned Conan at her, followed her down.
When settled down, she took a blood sample from him again, and put it into the machines. With the machines, Conan winced slightly at the sounds. He really wondered if he was reacting to these sounds more than the actual animals because he wasn't used to it yet, or if it was because he knew what they were. Because animals don't know about these sounds, they could just think it was a part of something else. But it was worse down there as a cat, as cats could hear more decibels than humans and dogs.
