Conan gave out a yawn as he walked out his room in the morning. Hiyori cooed from on top of his head, following Conan's yawns. He walked down the hallway, on his way to the kitchen, but shuffling was heard from the room he just walked past.

Stopping outside the door, Conan turned to it. "Sounds like Kaito-niichan's already up and feeding," he muttered, standing up on his toes to grab the door handle. Cooing sounds came as a greeting, and he walked inside.

The room was almost as large as the library. One could still see that the library was clearly larger than this room, but still big. Sticks and platforms lined across the walls, and threaded sticks hung from the ceiling. Small bird fountains stood in the corners, and tables with bonsai trees and larger potted trees next to them. Doves were all over the room. Some nesting on the platforms, some hanging of the sticks and others on the trees.

In the middle of the room stood Kaito as he adjusted his hold in a large bag. The sudden loud cooing made him look up and turn to see Conan walk in. He gave out a large beam, grinning at the boy and the small dove. "Ohayo, you two!"

"Ohayo, Kaito-niichan," greeted Conan, with Hiyori cooing, before taking off to land on a tree nearby.

Kaito smiled and placed the large bag down onto a table, then walked over to the large shelf on the side. Conan watched as Kaito went back to work, and he went over to a platform at his level. The doves there cooed a greeting and happily jumped over to him. With a smile, the boy scratched one dove on the head, while some of the other took off to land on him to nuzzle.

"Alright!" came a call from Kaito, making them all look over. "Breakfast's ready, my dear doves!"

The tremendous sound of flapping and cooing came, as all the doves took off to the middle, where Kaito had placed their food.

The two brothers gave out a short laugh at the scenes and watched as feathers flew around in the air in swirls after all their take offs. They monitored the birds as they fed. Kaito gave a slight frown when eyeing one specific dove in the dule.

Conan gave him a slightly concerned glance before eyeing the dove himself. They both eyed the smaller bird of the dule. While among all the other doves, everyone could see the size difference Hiyori had compared to the others. He was much smaller and struggled a bit to get to his food in the middle of the breakfast chaos.

Turning to Kaito again, Kaito gave him a small nod, then gestured to Hiyori with his head. "I think we still need to feed him on the side until he can grow more," he explained as he made his way to the side again to grab a small bowl. "Co-chan, can you still take on the task?"

"Un!" smiled Conan widely, with a nod. "Of course!" Kaito gave him a smile and walked over with a bowl. Conan turned towards the dule of doves again, calling for the one in need. "Hiyori-kun!"

Said small dove looked up at the call. He eyed Conan, and quickly took off the dule and landed on Conan's hand with a questioning coo.

Kaito handed his brother the bowl before taking a step back. Conan looked up to see the boy having a wide grin on his face. "What now?" bluntly asked Conan, making the other cackle.

"Nothing~," sang Kaito, then turned towards the dule. "Haruna-chan~!"

One dove looked up from the call and immediately flew over to the boy. Hiyori looked up, cooing a greeting to the other dove, who cooed back with a tiny tilt of her head, before turning to Kaito again.
