After the short girly girl fight that Micah and Alex had they both fell on the couch with a tired huff.
"So, summer's almost over,"
Micah pointed out.
"And we'll have to go back to school."
"Way to bring the mood down Micah." Alex said while covering his eyes with his arm.
"Well, it had to be pointed out sometime." I said, trying to stand up for Micah.
"He could've pointed it out the day before school starts, or even during school."
I rolled my eyes. "That'd be dumb."
Alex took his arm off of his face and looked at Micah and I with a smile.
"Speaking of dumb, I'm having a party tomorrow night for the sadness of the end of summer. You guys in?"
"I'm not really into partying, and I don't know anyone." I told him.
He gave me a 'your kidding me, right?' Look.
"Okay. I lied about the, I'm not really into partying part. I just don't want to party with people I don't know."
"Its okay Silver, you don't have to go if you don't want to. And if you don't go I don't go."
I smiled at Micah when he told me that.
"Silver, you have to go even if you don't want to." Alex said.
And there goes my smile.
Micah clearly glared at Alex.
"Hey Alex, come here for a sec."
Alex went closer to Micah as if he was going to whisper something to him.
"Ouch!"
But no. Micah flicked him in the forehead.
Alex rubbed his now bruised head and frowned at him.
"Micah,"
"Yeah, Silver?"
"You can go to the party if you want. I'm not stopping you, its your last summer party before school. You should go to it."
He looked at me for a minute.
"I don't know Silv-"
I covered his mouth with my hand before he could say anything.
"Micah, just go and have fun. You can come over here after."
He tried speaking but my hand was on his mouth still.
"Oops, sorry." I took my hand off his mouth so he could speak.
"Okay, I guess I'll go. But I won't be there very long. Cause you sooner I leave, the sooner I get to see you."
I smiled more and he smiled back.
Sigh. Why is he so perfect?
I heard gagging noises from behind Micah.
"Gross. Get a room love birds. You almost made me puke!" Alex made more sound effects to go with his point.
"I guess we should get going, its getting pretty late." Micah got up from the couch and stretched.
"Okay. See you guys tomorrow...? Or...?" How early will Alex's party be?
Alex butted between Micah and I,
"Can't. Your boy and I will be busy setting up, so you can't see him until the party is done."
I slowly nodded my head understanding what he was saying, yet a feeling of disappointment settling in me cause I won't be able to see him.
We were by the door and Micah was leaning on the door frame.
"Goodnight, Silvia."
"Goodnight, Micah."
"Could I have a goodnight kiss?"
I nodded my head.
I leaned in and almost kissing, when I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
I said my final goodnight and closed the door. He was still standing on the front steps with a funny look on his face. He thought I was going to kiss him.
From where I was standing I could hear Alex laughing to death.
I guess Micah's expression was hilarious.
