Silvia's POV

My mouth dropped.

"Awe!" I cooed.

"This is so cute, Cyrus!"

A light tinge showed on his face.

I looked at the blanket that had a  picnic basket on top of the soft grass.

"No offence Cyrus but... This is kinda cliche..." I trailed off.

"I know, I knew I shouldn't have done this. This was a bad idea, sorry–"

He stopped right away when I cut him off with a giggle.

"What?..." He asked.

"I love it."

"You-?"

"Love it."

He looked taken aback.

Then his face broke into the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

"You do?"

"Yes, I do." I smiled.

"You may now kiss the bride!" I said I'm a mock mans voice.

He smirked and came closer to me, "is that right?"

"I- I don't know..." I whispered; his breath fanned my face and I closed my eyes waiting for our lips to meet.

I heard a chuckle and my eyes opened widely.

"Are you gonna sit down?" He chucked again and my face heated.

"Uh-" I cleared my throat.

"Yeah."

I sat down awkwardly.

We started eating the food he brought; Mac and cheese and spinach salad. He stared at me and I shifted awkwardly.

"Do I have spinach in my teeth?!" I asked urgently.

He snapped out of it, "no! No! You don't, sorry. I was just thinking how amazing you are."

I blushed again.

"Thanks. Your amazing to you know."

He smiled back.

"You got a little something," I pointed at my teeth to show where.

He quickly closed his mouth and moved his tongue around in his mouth.

"I'm kidding!" I laughed at him.

"Wow..."

He got up and crawled over to me, "Bad, Silvia." He gasped and tsked mockingly as if I was a little kid that took a cookie with asking.

I layed back on the blanket till my back touched the ground.

He brought his face towards mine.

He brushed his lips against mine then pulled back too soon.

"C'mere," he got up and grabbed my hand in his to pull me up.

"Woah, white spots." I blinked a bit and held my head.

He just chuckled.

We went back into his car and drove deeper into the trees.

I checked my phone and it was already past eight; the sun had already set.

We stopped at a huge clearing.

"Wow," I said in awe.

We got out and jumped into the back of the truck where Cyrus had laid down blankets and cushions.

Looking at the little pond in front of me, I smiled; it was utterly beautiful here.

I slowly laid back towards the cushions whilst I stared at the glittering clear sky.

"This is–" I started.

"Cool?" He filled in.

"No," I turned my head to look at him and he was frowning.

"Amazing and beautiful. I love it." I blinked and looked at the dark sky filled with the right amount of stars.

"I'm glad you love it. This is my favorite place to come and relax when I get stressed out." He told me.

"Perfect place for that. How'd you find it?"

He was silent for a while.

"You don't have to tell me, its okay." I said gently;understanding fully.

"My Grandpa and I would come fishing out here. We were really  close and this was our little secret. But when he died, it hurt too much to come here for a while..."

His Grandpa?

I didn't know...

"Oh, Cyrus. I'm sorry." Wrapping my hand around his beside mine, I smiled to comfort him.

His he turned his head toward me from the sky showing me a weak smile that made me want to hug him.

He cleared his throat, "enough about me, what was your life like before you came here? If you don't mind me asking."

I just stated at the open sky then breathed out.

"My life sucked."

Was all I said.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Lets just say It wasn't paradise for me...

I was bullied for one thing, my best friend that I began to like ended up liking my older sister and becoming one of the bullies, my parents always fought, and I'm not pretty." I got that out in only one breath.

"Wow... That's... Crazy?"

Cyrus looked at me sadly.

"Well your right, your not pretty." He said.

Right when I was going to yell at him he said, "because your gorgeous."

Thanks to him my face feels like its on fire.

"Thanks." I blushed more when he smiled and wrapped his arms around me to pull me towards his chest.

I breathed him in and sighed.

We just laid there under the blanket of stars till our eyes grew heavy.
