Today was Monday.
First day at my new school.
I hate Mondays.
I pulled on my beat up old shoes that had a couple holes in it, after I got dressed in jeans and a black plain T-shirt.
I don't feel like dressing up fancy.
Today was the day you mourned for the end of summer.
I opened the door and my mom called out a goodbye.
"Bye mom!" I called back.
I pulled my backpack onto my shoulder more and stepped out the door, guess I'm walking to school.
Before we moved here I googled directions to my new school and I think I got it down pat.
Hopefully I won't end up in some random alley or at someone's house. If I do, I blame Google.
I was standing a little away from the school. And guess who I saw?
Micah. He was standing in the front talking to that girl he was with at the party. Huh, big surprise.
I looked at him and as if he could feel me looking at him he turned his head towards me and saw me looking at him.
I looked away but saw him walking towards me.
First days suck.
I walked a little quicker but he caught up to me.
"Silvia."
I didn't stop for a millisecond.
"Silvia!" He called my name a little louder.
"What do you want Micah?!"
He was getting on my nerves with him constantly calling my phone and visiting my house.
Can't he get a hint?
He tried grabbing my hand but I pulled away to quick.
He lowered his head some, "I want you to forgive me. I know it was stupid what I did."
"Are you f_*_*_* kidding me Micah? You were hanging out with the girl you cheated on me with!"
I shook my head.
"It was a mistake. Please. Can you forgive me?" He looked at me with his eyes piercing into mine.
Its impossible to look into his eyes, they hold to much emotions so I look down at my feet.
"At least let me explain!"
Maybe I should.
"Okay Micah,"
His face lit up.
"Thank-" he was about to speak.
"No, you didn't let me finish."
His face dimmed.
"You can explain. But you have to after school. Cause this is the first day and my first time at this school. I don't want it to be ruined."
"Okay."
The bell rang after our conversation. I guess I should get to my class.
I walked to my new class which was Mr. Rodman, history.
I went to a seat in the back of the class and waited for the teacher.
A girl that looked really familiar sat beside me dressed in a pair of black shorts and a neon pink shirt.
"Wow. I really don't want to be in Mr. Rodman's class."
I looked at her cause I didn't know if she was talking to me.
She looked at me waiting for a reply or something.
"How come?" I asked.
"He's strict as hell and his favorite things are giving homework and surprise tests."
I slowly nodded my head.
"At my old school there was a teacher exactly like him." I told her.
"Your new?"
She looked happy.
"Yeah. Moved here during the summer." I said.
"We don't really get many new faces around here. So, where'd you move from?"
"I moved from-"
Ehem! Someone with a deep voice cleared cleared their throat, interrupted what I was saying.
It was a man in his early 30's or younger. He was wearing a grey non-fancy suit. And he was fit.
All the girls in the class were practically sighing and all the guys were rolling their eyes.
The girl who I just met rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"C'mon Todd! I was just in a conversation with my new bestie! You interrupted her!"
She sounded exasperated.
He was sitting on her desk.
He let out a small laugh and shook his head.
"Carmynn, I thought you would have matured over the break."
She lifted a dark brow.
"Nah. I'll never be mature."
He shook his head again and smiled.
What the heck! He's practically flirting with her and he's probably twice her age.
He got off her desk and walked to the front, "today's lesson is continued lesson from before summer, if you didn't study the novel for some reason during the summer like i told everyone to, then I guess you have-" he looked down at his watch and continued talking, "-less than 2 minutes to read the whole book."
Carmynn cursed under her breath and pulled a book from her bag.
"Its okay I didn't read it either." I whispered to her and smiled.
