A yawn escaped my lips when I opened my eyes to see that I was in Cyrus's car.
"Do you want to come over to my house to watch a movie?" Cyrus asked me before starting the car.
"I don't know, I'm kinda sleepy."
I said.
"You can spend the night?" He smiled.
"Erm... Isn't it a little to early for us to-" I began.
"No! I mean, n-no. Not in that way." He shifted awkwardly in his seat.
Good thing there was no light on in here, I'm blushing like my face is going to explode.
"Oh, okay."
"Unless you want it to be that way then, okay." The smirk was evident in his voice.
I cleared my throat and awkwardly laughed, "maybe another day...?"
He laughed some, "okay."
We drove through the deep now darkened forest.
"This place seems pretty creepy at night..." I said whilst looking out the window.
"Yeah, it does." He said with realization.
"So..." He started.
"So...?" I responded.
"Are you gonna come over? Only if you want to."
"Okay. But I might fall asleep quickly."
I pulled out my phone to text my mom, then seen there was no signal.
"Grrr!" I growled.
"Did you just... Growl?" Cyrus laughed.
"Yes?"
He laughed more, "okay."
Hmm. I think I'm beginning to like him even more.
He turned on the sterio and pressed the aux button that was hooked up to phone.
He handed me the phone, "wanna pick a song?"
My smile that was already on my face widened.
Okay, now I really really like him.
"Really? Cause I'm afraid you might not like my music taste. I actually might scare you..."
"I might like it."
"Okay. I already warned you." I said then swiped the screen right to open the lock screen.
We were finally on the main road driving home, so there was bars on the phone. And that's when his phone started vibrating like crazy.
I ignored them and went on playtube to find a song, I searched for the song snuff by Slipknot.
"Slipknot?" Cyrus asked.
"Yep. You listen to them?" I asked.
"Of course. They're amazing."
I smiled thinking that he was great. We are practically the same.
The phone vibrated when I was scrolling down his music and the name "baby" popped up on the top of the screen.
I shouldn't be doing this... I thought in my head. But curiosity got to me.
I swiped the top of the screen downward.
There was over fifteen texts, from the same person... Baby.
I read them, which was a horrible idea.
Cyrus: cmon girl. Just one?
Baby: maybe later ;)
Cyrus: awe.
Baby: fiiine
Cyrus: damn! There was a text missing before he put "damn", and I think I know what it was.
Baby: so what're you doing rn? Maybe we can hangout
Cyrus: I'm busy rn maybe we can tonight?
Baby: okayThats when the texts stopped.
Maybe because he was with me?
Maybe this isn't such a big deal? Right? We aren't even a couple so I can't tell him what to do.
I looked at the other texts,
Baby: hey
Baby: you done doing whatever your doing?
Baby: I know your reading my texts
Baby: cmon babe. Where are you??I dropped the phone in my lap, as if it burned my hand.
"You alright?" Cyrus pushed the thoughts out of my head with his voice.
"Um. I- yeah. Of course! I'm better than alright!" I said with too much happiness.
"...okay." He hesitated.
"Okay."
The song finished and I tapped some random song on his playlist. The music flowed through the silence in ease.
Not one word fell through my lips until we reached town.
"Um, Cyrus?"
"Yes, Silvia?"
"Can you drop me off at home? I'm not feeling well and I don't wanna go to your house all sick."
I best faked my sick voice I do when I want to stay home from school.
"Okay."
We got to my house and I got out right when he stopped.
He rolled down his window and stopped me, "goodnight Silvia!" He yelled over to me from the curb cause I was almost at my doorstep.
I half waved and kept walking.
I opened the door and silently closed it behind me.
"Walk of shame?" A voice holding a smile said in the living room.
It was just Lucy.
"Why the hell are you sitting in the dark?" I asked her.
"I wanted to scare you." She giggled while turning on the lights.
"Holy sheit." She breathed out when she saw me.
"You look like your about to cry..." She said.
"No." I bit out. Actually trying not to cry.
"Awe. Silvia," she said that right when I broke out into a sob.
She hugged me closely.
"Is it me, or is this place tearing you apart?" She said.
"Boys suck." I pulled away from her now damp shoulder.
"I know, I know." She patted my back.
"It'll be okay Silver." She cooed.
"Hopefully."
