But if you like everything
I think you might love me, baby

The hall of mirrors was surprisingly quiet today. You went past a few students until you were standing before the portal to Heartslabyul. You took a deep breath and stepped though.

There, you recognized the familiar red colored rose bushes and heart shaped decor. Holding your basket, you went inside the dorm. Upon entering the lobby, you were getting stares from the residents.

"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" Riddle asked curiously.

Sheepishly, you held up your medium sized basket. "I'm here to visit Trey. Is he resting?"

"I see." He replied, noticing your gift. "He's awake, so you can go ahead."

Needless to say, the Heartslabyul dorm leader was surprised to discover you were here for Trey. As far as Riddle knew, the two of you weren't close at all, and yet here you were, gift basket in tow. Even though you weren't here to see Riddle but rather his close friend, he found himself moved by your kindness.

You nodded, flashing him a smile of gratitude before going on to the dorms. Tracing your memory, you walked until you found Trey's door and gently knocked. Once you heard a soft 'come in', you opened the door.

"Did you need something, Riddle?" Trey asked. He looked up from his bed, and froze when he saw you.

"You must've hit your head pretty bad there... It's (Y/N)." You answered in a jest tone.

Entering the room, you noticed there were more baskets and gifts in his room than before. It seemed a couple of students came to visit before you. Thankfully for you, there was a small empty table near the bed. You set your basket there.

An apologetic smile formed on his lips. "Sorry, I mistook you for him."

"No worries." You gave a soft chuckle in response. Riddle must check up on him often.

Part of you felt guilty for showing up, despite Trey saying it wasn't necessary. However, he was kind enough to help you and the others out during the fiasco with Riddle. From his interactions and history alone, you could tell he was a good man. You considered him one of your friends, and as a friend you felt an obligation to make sure he was doing alright.

"I know you said I didn't have to trouble myself, but I still wanted to come visit." You explained sincerely.

Trey was surprised. He's gotten a few visitors, but he didn't expect you to show up. That was incredibly sweet and thoughtful of you to see him.

"Take a seat, (Y/N). There's a chair right there." He offered.

There was a nearby chair adjacent to the table. Grabbing it, you gingerly dragged it over to Trey's bed. You took a seat and got comfortable.

"So how are you doing Trey? Feeling better?" You asked. From your observation, he looked better than he did before.

"I am for the most part. Though..." He trailed off. His gaze diverted from yours. "Nevermind."

You tilted your head curiously. "What is it?"

"It's nothing, (Y/N), don't worry about it." Looking back, he tried to assure you.

Unfortunately, his words had the opposite effect.

"Now you're making me worried." You said with a frown. Crossing your arms, you rose from your chair. "Hm... should I go tell Riddle...?"
