And so, the three of you went to various stores for the listed brand items. Thankfully, all the stores were located in this mall. The load was too much for any of you to carry, so you were given a huge cart to carry them. You had to push it since Epel nor Rosalia could.
By the time you were nearly done, it was close to sunset. The light outside the mall windows were orange tinted. This task ended up consuming most of your day, but the journey went by smoothly, so you didn't mind much.
"This should be the last store." Epel notified you both.
"Okay, good!" Rosalia sighed with relief. "I've seen enough lip glosses to last me a lifetime!"
"At least you didn't have to test them." You chimed in. Despite wiping it off numerous times, the sensation was still lingering on your lips.
"I'm really sorry about that..." Epel spoke up, but you shook your head in protest.
"It's alright." You assured him. In truth, you didn't mind. You enjoyed helping others in any way you could. "I wanted to help."
Epel fell silent, studying you for a moment. He stopped once he walked in front of a store entrance. This was your last stop. "Well, here it is."
The three of you went inside. It was a niche store that sold cosmetics for a good price. Epel had described earlier their products were made using organic ingredients. Crafted and brewed by local alchemists.
"Hi, welcome in! What can I do for you?" The salesperson greeted your trio.
Epel brought up something on his phone. Going up to the counter, he turned the device to show it to the woman. "I'm here to pick up a shipment for Schoenheit."
"Ah, yes!" After seeing the screen, the woman nodded with a smile. She must've been expecting him. She went towards the back of the store concealed by a thin curtain. "I've got it right here for you. Just a moment, if you please!"
The three of you waited patiently as the woman disappeared into the back. It wouldn't take too long to get the last box.
"Here we go! Home stretch!" Rosalia spoke up with excitement. She turned to Epel. "Aren't you excited, Epel? What're you gonna do with the rest of your day?"
Epel shrugged. "Um, just study, I guess...?"
"Ha-Wha?!" Rosalia gasped. Taken aback, she held her chest. "No way! You need some leisure time!"
Although you didn't know how Epel spent his time, he seemed overworked given the task he had today. It was like Rosalia said, perhaps he could use a break.
"If you're not busy, you should come hang out with us." You suggested, a small smile on your lips.
"I'm not sure what we're gonna do yet, but I'm sure it'll be fun."
Your painting friend nodded eagerly. "Totally!"
"What did you have in mind?" Epel asked. Even though he asked, he figured he'd be better off declining. Seeing how the two of you are girls, you're probably going to be doing mostly girly things. If that was the case, he'd have to pass. He did enough dainty and cutesy things at his own dorm.
Rosalia held her chin. "Well, first we were gonna dress up, and I was gonna help (Y/N) do her makeup..."
"Then we were gonna go run!" You added excitedly.
