"Hey, Azul, wanna make a deal with me?" Leona asked the desperate octopus. It was laughably ironic way of phrasing, and if the air wasn't so undeniably tense, you probably would have.
Azul glanced at him with wide eyes, confused by the offer. It had succeeded in catching him off guard. "Huh...?"
"If I were to give these back, what would I get in return?" Leona decided to ask him.
"I-I'll do anything." Azul was quick to answer.
He began listing off possible things Leona could need. The very fate of his future rested in the lion's hands, and Azul was willing to do anything to save it. "Test notes, graduation thesis, altering your attendance records, I'll make whatever you want come true!" He declared. He needed this bargain to work, no matter what.
"Interesting. That's a pretty tempting offer." Leona grinned in satisfaction. Seeing Azul beg had fed his ego rather well.
There's no way. You thought as you crossed your arms. Leona has to be humoring him, as cruel as that was to do now.
Azul's hopeful smile returned. The mere thought was lifting his spirits. Would Leona actually take it? "Then you'll..."
"However... I won't be handing these over for something like that." The lion determined smugly.
"...Eh?" Azul stared at him, eyes enlarging in horror.
Thankfully, he wasn't left in suspense for too long, as Leona began to explain. "You see, I'm being threatened by (Y/N) right now." He closed his eyes.
"Unless I help them get rid of these, she and that furball of hers are going to cause a ruckus outside my room every night until morning." He held his temple as the annoying trauma of last night came back to him. The last thing he needed was a repeat of that mess.
Why on earth did you use pans from the kitchen? It's as if you knew exactly what could affect his sensitive hearing.
"Hah...?" Bewildered, the octopus blinked slowly.
"Letting you take Ramshackle Dorm would ruin my sleep." Leona held up the contracts in his hand. "Destroying these will get them out of Savanaclaw."
Azul was completely taken aback. That was how you forced Leona's hand?! "Don't tell me... Just because of that, you...!?"
"You've been out villained, Azul." Leona declared. (Y/N) had outdone him thrice in a row.
Despite the proof before him, he refused to admit defeat. There's no way you've thwarted him. "This can't be real... stop!" Azul begged out of desperation.
Sparkles of light began to gather in Leona's hand. His magic pen was glowing. "...Now then, 'Kneel before me! King's Roar!'"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The octopus shouted loudly as he dashed forward. Unable to do anything, his life's work was turning to dust right before his eyes.
All of the contracts in Leona's hand had disintegrated into sand. Azul had tried to grab it, but it was too late. The dust drifted away like particles.
With wide eyes of horror, Azul stopped and stood there. Silently lowering his hand, he started trembling to himself. The heavy reality was slow to register, and it was cracking before his very eyes. He could barely stomach any of the events that had just unfolded. All of his work, his aspirations, and his reputation had vanished. It was nothing more than desert sand now. It was all over for him.
