"Good evening, Lisa."
I snapped my eyes open at the unfamiliar voice. It took me a second to realize I was on the sofa with my neck twisted at a very odd angle.
"Uh, hello? T?" I called out softly so I wouldn't wake Liv.
"I am an AI created by Mr Stark in the Spiderman suit. I was activated when Peter completed his Training Wheels Protocol. I would connect you to Peter now." The polite voice explained.
I'm sorry, what?
"Wait wait wait? I have a lot of questions?" I said.
"Feel free to ask anything, Lisa." She replied and I faltered at the very calm voice.
I guess I was used to FRIDAY's bitchy attitude and she was a direct opposite of her.
"Uh, yeah. Uh, what do you mean he completed his training? And if dad created you, don't you have a name or acronym or something? And why wasn't I aware of your existence?!" I asked.
"Mr Stark put a block on the full capabilities of the suit. That block is called the Training Wheels Protocol. Mr Stark created me without your knowledge to be a surprise. No, I do not have a name. You can call me anything you want." She answered all my questions and I nodded even though she couldn't see me.
"Yeah. That makes sense. Uh, why can't I see anything yet?" I asked.
"That is because Peter is not online." She replied. "I would notify you when he is." She says.
"Hmm." I hummed as I stood up to check on Liv. She was still asleep, snoring softly, her katana within arm's reach.
A smile tugged on my face when I remembered our argument this afternoon when she arrived. I'd told her my plans to enroll her into school and she threw a fit.
She wanted to stay with us till we all came back together and I disagreed. We continued to argue until I pulled the 'I'm your legal guardian' card and I immediately felt guilty for it after I promised not to ever mention it.
We both apologized, and we came to a conclusion that she would start school in Mid-Town High next year.
"Good evening, Peter." The suit lady's voice echoed in my living room.
"Hello? Hello?" Peter's voice came in slightly freaked out as I walked towards the couch.
The holographic image of what Peter was seeing, is projected on the wall.
"Congratulations on completing the rigorous Training Wheels Protocol and gaining access to your suit's full capabilities." Suit Lady informed him and I decided to step in.
"Ah, thank you."
"Indeed Mr Parker. Congratulations." I said and Peter's breath hitched.
"Lis? Is that you? How is it even—"
"Did you seriously expect no one to be informed when you deactivated the protocol?" I asked rolling my eyes.
"A boy could hope, I guess." He muttered before Suit Lady spoke up
"So where would you like to take us tonight?" She asked.
"Right. I–I put a tracker on someone. He's a bad guy." Peter stuttered out.
"Tracker located." Suit Lady replied.
"Plotting course to intercept target.""Okay, well, as long as I make it back in time for Decathlon, it's fine." Peter said as he swung from his web onto a truck.
