Hundreds of thousands of spectators are packed into the stadium seats. This is the most packed I've seen this stadium since we've gotten here, this champion must be well loved for people to be this plenty, despite the charges put up.
I took a sip of the sweet tasting drink, waiting for Loki to arrive. I think he was really serious about the bet he placed against Thor.
Grandmaster's holographic projection flickered to life as he addressed the audience.
"Wow! Look at all of you. What a show, what-a-night! Who's having fun? Please, I'm your host. Big round of applause for all of our undercard competitors…who died so gruesomely. Good sports. What a show! What a night! This is what you've come for and so have I." He started as applause from the audience got louder.
"And now, without further ado…it's main event time!!"
Louder applause.
"Making his first appearance, though he looks quite promising, got a couple of tricks up his sleeve. I'll say no more, see what you think. Ladies and gentlemen…I give to you…Lord of Thunder!" He announced.
The audience booed as Thor walked out and…holy hell does he look good.
His signature flowing blonde hair is now replaced by short brown hair, his beard the same. His Asgardian armor, no where to be found. If I'm being honest, one good thing about Sakaar is it's dressing. I mean look at the makeover they gave Thor, let's not even start with Loki.
"Watch out for his fingers. They make sparks." Grandmaster added.
"Okay, this is it. Let's get ready to welcome this guy. Here he comes." Grandmaster smirked, rubbing his hands together in excitement as the crowd started to throw green colours and the ground shook in anticipation, literally.
"He is a creature. What can we say about him? Well, he's unique. There's none like him. I feel a special connection with him."
Loki slipped into the space beside me, excitement on his face as he grabbed my hand in his, placing a kiss on it.
"He's undefeated. He's The Reigning…he's The Defending…Ladies and gentlemen…I give you…"
The door couldn't open fast enough for the champion because he burst through them and my mouth dropped open in shock.
Hulk roared at the crowd as they cheered for him and Thor shouted in excitement.
"Yes!" Making the crowd go silent at the expectation subversion.
I glanced at Loki when his hand slipped from mine to find his face pale, gone was all his joy and excitement from a few seconds earlier.
"I—we have to get off this planet." Loki muttered as he grabbed my arm, pulling me with him as he tried to run away.
"What? Wait—Loki! Slow down—" my confused cry is cut short when Loki ran into Grandmaster.
"Hey, hey, hey! Where are you going?" He questioned as he led us back to the seats.
I jerked my elbow into Loki's rib as payback, taking my seat at the edge of the sofa, making Loki sit between Grandmaster and I.
I watched with amusement as Loki leaned forward, trying to casually hide his face in his hand. He really is terrified of the Hulk, which is ironic because, Loki scares the hell out of Bruce.
Speaking of—
"Hey!" Thor exclaimed, calling everyone's attention back to him. "We know each other. He's a friend from work!"
