"Hey May, did you do dinner already?" Peter called out as he entered his—their room.
He sent a quick text to Ned to inform him that he was home already. He looked up only to pause in his tracks.
A brown paper bag that had
'This belongs to you. -TS' scribbled on it was there on his bed, not Lisa's.He pulled out his earphones, calling out. "May?"
Maybe the bag belonged to Lis, but she wasn't here. He couldn't feel her here.
He hurriedly grabbed the bag, opening it up to reveal his suit.
He quickly shrugged off his bag and stripped off his clothes. He excitedly got into the suit, missing the feel of the familiar spandex against his body.
He slipped on his mask and it immediately came alive.
"Good evening Peter. It's nice to see you again." The familiar voice filled his ears.
"Yeah. It's good to see you too Karen." He responded, taking a deep breath of the spandex filtered air.
"I gotta go now. I'll see you later." He said as he slipped off the mask.'Bad guys better watch out now because Spiderman is officially ungrounded.' he thought with a smile.
"What the fuck!?" He heard behind him and he jumped in shock.
Shit!!

My phone vibrated in my pocket as I walked through the busy streets of Queens. May had sent me a text to pick up our order from the Thai place from a few weeks ago.
Peter's ridiculous face appeared on my screen. His short hair braided and sticking up in different directions, my name signed on his head and his face scrunched up in an adorable frown.
I almost ignored it because he left with Happy not too long ago but I just picked it up incase he's in danger.
"Hey—"
"Oh my God, Lis. Thank God you picked up, I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't. I don't know what to do, what should I do?" He rambled cutting me off.
"Peter—"
"You always know what to say and do, can you help me talk to her? She'll listen to you. What if she doesn't? Why didn't I close the door?" He started again.
"Peter, could you—"
"What do you think she's going to do? I mean she just left. That's even worse than her collecting my suit? Do you think she's going to take it—"
"Peter Benjamin Parker! Would you tell me what's going on in a slow and understandable manner?" I demanded and he sighed.
"May found out about me being…you know?" He muttered and I gasped.
"Well shit! How did she find out?" I exclaimed.
"I didn't know she was at home and the door was open and she was just there." He ranted.
"Isn't the…alert stuff supposed to help you know when people are around?" I asked.
"Yeah, I suppose. I don't know how it works." He said, pausing for a few seconds, probably wondering too before he snapped back to his panic. "What am I going to do?!"
"Just calm down. Talk to her. I'm sure you've planned this scenario in your head a billion times. Tell her how safe you are, that you can dodge bullets and all that, whatever. Just talk and be calm." I instructed as a tall man bumped into me. "Sorry."
"Okay, I'll try. Come home early. Maybe you'll be able to reassure her if it doesn't work out. I really love doing this Lis, I don't want her to tell me to stop." He admitted and I sighed.
"It'll work out. Just talk to her calmly and I'm sure she'll understand. I'll talk to her when I get back, kay? I have to go. I love you, Peter. It'll work out, trust me. " I reassured him as I cut the call, letting out a deep sigh.
I looked up to the skies, shaking my head.
"This better be for the best." I mumbled as I continued walking.
