I smirked as I floored the gas, zooming recklessly around. I hit the sharp turn and zoom past my best friend and the entrance.
I slowly reversed till I'm in front of him and I rolled down the glass with a smile.
"Why so gloomy, captain Rogers?" I asked. "Let me guess: He turned into a baby."
"Among other things, yeah." He responded before asking, "What are you guys doing here?"
"That's the EPR Paradox." Dad says as he gets out of the car and walks around the back.
When I saw the confusion on Steve's face I explained further.
"Instead of pushing Scott through time, you might've wound up pushing time through Scott. It's tricky. Dangerous. Somebody should've cautioned you against it.""You guys did." Steve admitted.
"Oh, did we?" Dad asked feigning innocence. "Thank God we're here. Regardless, we fixed it."
Dad showed him the device as I got out of the car, shutting the door behind me and leaned on the car.
"A fully functioning Time-Space GPS." I explained again and Steve nodded in understanding and a smile.
"I just want peace. Turns out, resentment is corrosive, and I hate it." Dad says.
"Me too."
"We got a shot at getting these stones, but I gotta tell you my priorities: Bring back what we lost? I hope, yes. Keep what I got? I have to, at all costs. And... maybe not die trying will be nice." Dad tells him and I nodded in agreement.
"Sounds like a deal." Steve agreed and they shake on it.
Dad pulls the trunk open and I give him an encouraging nod. He pulls out Steve's shield and hands it out to him.
"Tony, I don't know-" Steve hesitates.
"Why? He made it for you. Plus, honestly I have to get it out of the garage before this one convinces Morgan takes it sledding." Dad says as he fits the shield into Steve arm.
The soldier looks down at the shield, with a meaningful look.
"Thank you, Tony.""Will you keep that a little quiet?Didn't bring one for the whole team." Dad says before pausing, "we are getting the whole team, yeah?"
"We're working on that right now."

"Kind of a step down from a golden palace and magic hammers and whatnot." Rocket says as we climbed down from the truck that brought us here.
"Hey, have a little compassion, pal. First they've lost Asgard, then half the people. They're probably just happy to have a home." Bruce tells him.
"You shouldn't have come!" I heard the familiar voice say to us.
"Ah, Valkyrie! Great to see you, Angry Girl." Bruce says, walking towards her with his arms spread.
"Hi, Val." I greeted with a wide smile.
"Hi princess. I think I liked him better either of the other ways." She comments once she sees his appearance.
"Trust me, I was confused too." I told her. I remember that day I got an emergency call from the gamma lab and I rushed there think it was an hulk emergency only to find Bruce and Hulk merged into one being.
"This is Rocket." Bruce introduced, ignoring our jabs.
"How you doin'?" Rocket greets.
"He won't see you." She says after eyeing Rocket.
