𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬✓ 𝐓𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐤 [𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝟑]

25: Blood and Dust.

I know I'm in a daze, mainly because I can't feel all the bruises on my body. I'm still in Wakanda and Thanos just snapped.

'What did you do? What Did You Do?!' Thor asked angrily as Thanos assesses the damage the snap had done on him.

Thanos mockingly smirks at Thor before he teleports away, leaving Stormbreaker, coated in his blood, behind.

'Where'd he go? Thor…where'd he go?' Steve asked, grabbing his ribs.

'Steve?' James' voice suddenly calls from behind us and I turned to him.

He looks up at us in confusion as his arm started to disintegrate into dust.

No! No, no, no.

Save us!

He stumbles over and collapse into ashes.

"Papa!!" The emotions in her voice makes my throat tighten. She runs through me towards her father's ashes, grabbing fistfuls desperately.

I see Shuri watching in confusion as the army around her starts to disintegrate, only for her to join them.

I closed my eyes as I tried to block out Liv's cries but when I open them in standing behind Okoye as she tries to stand, T reached out for her and she grabs his arm, only for her to fall back as he too starts to disintegrate into particles.

"Hezvo…?!" Okoye cries out.

Then, I'm standing beside Rocket as Groot rests on a tree branch.
'I am Groot…'

My heart clenched as I translated what it meant.
“Dad?”

"No…No. No. No. No! Groot…no." Rocket whispers in horror.

Tears fall from my eyes and I tried to hold in my sobs.

I see Wanda kneeling over Vision, Pietro holding her, before she slowly starts to fade away, much to Pietro's shock.

I see Sam in the bushes trying to get up but he turns to dust too.

I'm back where I started where Liv is still crying over James' ashes, my heart sinks as she slowly starts to fade too, leaving Steve to stare on in horror and defeat.

Then I was in front of a barn, I know as the Barton's. I watched as Clint's whole family turn to dust leaving him shouting in desperation and confusion.

When I blinked, I'm in the orange place I recognized from my visions.

I immediately spot Strange, Peter and Dad?

Movement behind me has me turning around to see the rest of the Guardians. They all looked worse for wear.

'Something…is…happening.' Mantis says as she looks around before turning to dust.

'Quill…?' Drax called out in confusion before fading too.

'Steady, Quill.' dad says from behind me as PJ starts to fade too.

'Aw, man.'

'Tony, there was no other way.' I heard Strange tell dad calmly, like he knew it was going to happen and with that he dusts.

'Mister Stark?' I heard and my heart sinks further and this time, I can't contain my sobs. 'I don't feel so good.' he continues in a broken voice as he stands to lose his balance.

'You're all right.' dad says as Peter stumbles towards me.

For a moment, I forget I'm in a vision and Peter can't see me, all I wanted to do was hold him. That's untill he falls through me, into dad's arms.

'I don't know what's – I don't know what's happening. I don't- Save me, save me! I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go, Sir, please. Please, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go…I'm sorry.'

My tears blur my vision as he lets go and fades too.

By the time I blink away the tears, I'm in an apartment building that is somewhat familiar. I know this place because I've been here to pick up Peter and Liv after school hours. Ned's apartment.

'Nana?' he calls out to his grandma before he turns to dust.

Then I'm in an apartment building that I recognized so well.

'…calm down, what do you mean Ned is gone? I'm sure he's fine, he's probably with Peter and Liv, they-'

The phone falls out of her hand as she disintegrates, leaving the person on the other line on hold.

Then, I'm in from of a small cabin I've come to love, I can spot him, his mom and sister outside, together with Louisa. All three of them dusted, leaving behind Harley's very horrified mom.

I'm on the streets, people are disintegrating around me but the only people I recognized are Fury and Maria Hill.

'Nick...?' Hill calls out before corroding to dust.

Fury hurriedly runs to a car, pulling the door open, searched through it before pulling out a pager.

He sends the alert before he starts to fade too.

'Oh, no. Motherf-' he fades before he could complete his sentence and his pager falls to the floor. The device display a red-and-blue star insignia.

That's the last thing I see before the darkness consumed me.

"What is this? What the hell is happening? Rhodey asked in confusion. He has seen death, lots of it but never like this, never this confusing and shocking.

"Oh, God." Steve Rogers breathed as he sank to the ground beside Vision in defeat.

Everyone sat there in silence, still trying to comprehend what they just saw. Only one person seemed to notice that someone was not here, at least mentally.

"Uh, guys?!" Pietro called their attention to her as he grabbed his bleeding abdomen. The pain in his heart hurts a lot more than a stupid stab wound. He'd just lost is twin and their baby sister.

There she was, on her knees, eyes glazed over as she murmured and shivered.

"Shit. Lis, hey. Lis, come on, Violet. Lisa!" Pietro called out as they all watched in panic.

They kept calling her as she kept whimpering, tears pouring from her eyes.

Pietro suddenly winced as he felt his buzz getting stronger, even though two out of three responsible for the buzz are gone.

Her skin started to glow brighter by the second and soon, he understood what's happening.

"London is happening again." Was all he said as he carried her in his arms, zooming off into the deserted battlefield.

He managed to get away from everyone before the first wave of energy  burst from her.

He held on to her tightly, whispering comforting words in her ear as she lets out waves after waves, until it was all over.
