"What do you mean she just walked through a portal and left?" Tony Stark asked.
It's been a few days since the incident, the one where Lisa Stark and Thor killed the mad titan in a dark rage, a sickening sinister smirk on the formers face.
"Where is my daughter, Rogers?" Tony asked again as the super soldier looked down.
"She's gone, Tony." He responded.
Thor had arrived three days ago and refused to say anything to anyone. Everyone was silently hoping she would arrive at any moment.
"I'm sorry." The soldier said.
Tony Stark crumbled, it was very obvious but Pepper was there for him this time.
They thought the last time she disappeared was painful but this is different. She's lost so much in the past month and they wanted desperately to be there for her but her pushing them out hurts.
"She's going to be fine. She's going to come back." Pepper whispered hopefully but deep down everyone of them doubted that.

Five Months Later."Any signs?" Steve Rogers asked.
"No. But her energy signature was found in two locations filled with cosmic radiation and also the sight of an attack." Carol responded via the hologram.
"Where?" Tony asked, all eyes turned to him.
"Where Asgard once was and where Ego was." She responded.
"And the attack?" He asked, even when they knew where that was.
Why is she torturing herself?
"Where Thanos attacked what was left of Asgard." She responded and they nodded grimly.
"Is there a pattern to any of these coordinates?" Nat spoke up for the first time since this call started.
"No. I'm sorry."

Few months later."So, Thanos' ship was found blown to pieces this morning." Nebula tells them.
"Making it the second time this week alone. First it was the garden and now his ship." Rocket added and they sighed.
"Do you think there's anything else she could blow up?" Pietro asked. "Something that Thanos loved."
"We'll see. Sooner or later, she'll run out of things to vent on." Carol speaks up. "She's gonna come home soon." She reassures when she sees the tired looks on their faces.
"How's Tony?" Carol asked.
"He's good. They're due early next month or so." Steve spoke up.
They all wondered if she'll be back before then. They knew how it'll hurt for her to miss her sibling's birth. They could only hope she comes back.

Few weeks later. Her Sakaarian grab felt comfortable against her skin, her usually long brown hair was cut above her shoulder.
Her knuckles rasped against the wooden door, sending soft knocking sounds through the cabin.
She waited a few seconds before knocking again, this time louder. She could hear the soft plater of feet before the lock turns and the door opens to reveal an heavily heavily pregnant Pepper.
Shock is etched on the older woman's face as she starts at the girl she'd come to love like the baby in her stomach, looking so different.
"Hey Pep."
"Oh my goodness. Oh my gosh. Tony! Oh, Tony is not home. I don't- " she paused and her eyes widened comically before looking down to see a small puddle starting to form.
"Oh goodness." The younger girl exclaimed when she noticed the puddle. "Did I just break your water? The baby is coming?"
"I wasn't due until next week. Oh my God."
The panic is clear in her eyes as she rushed to the older woman's side. The older woman was still standing there in shock.
"Um, FRIDAY, activate whatever protocol is set for this." She instructed.
"On it." The AI replied, not putting up an argument for once.
"Where the hell is dad?" She asked as a car zooms out of the garage to the front porch.
She helped the older woman climb down the stairs and into the car as she practiced her breathing.
"Boss is out for the monthly visit with government officials." The AI responds.
"FRIDAY, get us to the hospital as fast but as safe as you can." She instructed. "And call dad immediately."

Long hours later, Morgan H. Stark was born.
Tony hadn't let go of either of his daughters, placing continuous kisses on both of them as their mom watched with tired but proud eyes.
Lisa was happy to be back with her family, everyone was here bearing gifts. Happiness filled the air, a smile plastered on everyone's faces, their hearts filled with joy.
Lis held on to the one good thing that had happened to her since… since Thanos. She could feel the urge to protect the tiny baby in her arms from every harm in the universe. She looked up to see her dad looking at her with tears in his eyes. It felt like he could read every emotion rushing through her.
With a tearful laugh, she suddenly announced. "She looks like a boiled potato."
