YOU (RICK GRIMES)

PART ELEVEN

The trio get inside where two more survivors, Jacqui and Andrea are also taking cover. Hailey immediately has a gun pointed in her face by Andrea as she switched back in forth between Rick and Hailey. 

"You son of a bitches. We ought to kill you!" She yelled as Rick grabbed Hailey and held onto her while Glenn stepped forward. 

"Chill the fuck out Andrea! Put the damn gun away from my girlfriend!"

"Girlfriend?" Both Andrea and Hailey said shocked. 

Glenn looked back at her before looking at Andrea. 

"Ex girlfriend," 

"Just chill out, Andrea. Back off. Leave them alone," Another man said standing up for them. 

"Come on, ease up. Your scaring the both of them, they are new," another woman announced.

"Ease up? You're kidding me, right? We're dead because of these stupid assholes! We were just fine before they came along!" She yelled waving the gun at them as Hailey was burred in Rick's chest. 

"Rick," She breathed out sounding frightened. 

"Its okay Hails, I got you," He responded. "I wont let anything happen to you," he said causing Glenn to turn to them with a frown. 

He didn't like how close the new guy was to her. 

"Andrea, I said back the hell off. If you kill either one of them you gonna have to kill me too," Glenn said moving in front of them as the gun was still pointed at them. "Hailey is someone I care about and I'd be damned if you end up hurting her!" He shouted causing Hailey to look up at him as she got out of Rick's arms. 

"G," She whispered as him and Andrea had a stare down. 

"We're dead... All of us... Because of you two!" 

"I...... I dont understand what we did to make you hate us so much?" Hailey said having enough of her bullshit. 

"Look here young lady, we came into the city to scavenge supplies. You know what the key to scavenging is? Surviving! You know the key to surviving? Sneaking in and out, tiptoeing. Not shooting up the streets like it's the O.K. Corral!" A man yelled at her getting upset. 

Rick came to stand beside Hailey. 

"Look if you want to blame anybody, blame me, I'm the one who fired the shots not her! Don't take your anger out on her do it to me!"

"Every geek for miles around heard you popping off rounds," Another male announced. 

"You just rang the dinner bell,"

"You get the picture now?"

"Yeah we got it.... but we also didn't asked to be saved either Rick and I were going to end it before G came out and saved our asses," 

"What?" He asked turning fully to face Rick Grimes as Glenn had an upset face. "I OUTTA KILL YOU! YOU WERE PLANNING TO SHOOT HER?!"

"WE DIDN'T HAVE A WAY OUT!" 

"ONE MINUTE LATER SHE COULD BE DEAD IF I DIDN'T STEP IN WHEN I DID! YOU ASSHOLE!" Glenn shouted going to punch Rick in the face but Hailey quickly intervened causing him to stop his fist inches from her face as she closed her eyes. 

"STOP! Glenn please I'm okay..... I'm still alive alright? Don't take it out on Rick..... We didn't know you guys were alive,"

He groaned as he went to place his forehead on hers his fist raising down. 

"I could have lost you again if I hadn't of said anything, the thought of you dying just breaks my heart,"

"Glenn, I'm okay..... Hey look at me," she said placing her hands on his cheeks as he opened his eyes and stared into her blue ones. 

"I'm right here I'm alive because of you, take pride in yourself," 

He nodded his head with a smile as Rick couldn't help but look away from the two. The group then see the zombies growling and trying to get into the store. A few Walkers is attempting to smash through the double set of doors to get to them.

"Oh God. What the hell were you two doing out there anyway?" Andrea asked as Glenn stepped away from Hailey as Glenn was on her left and Rick on her right and she was in the middle. 

"We were Trying to flag the helicopter," Rick said licking his lips and glancing at Hailey who nodded her head. 

"Helicopter? Man, that's crap. Ain't no damn helicopter,"

"You were chasing a hallucination, imagining things. It happens,"

Hailey shook her head at the woman's accusations. 

"No, it's real, I saw it for myself two people cant hallucinate the same damn thing,"

"She's right, we really did see it,"

"Let me ask you something girl, my name is Jacqui by the way,"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Hailey Baxter, what's your question?"

"What's the relationship between the three of you?" She asked pointing at Rick and Glenn.

"Well ummm...... Rick is my best friend since I was born, and Glenn is my ex boyfriend,"

"Soon to be current," he said smiling causing Hailey to blush as Rick glared. 

"Over my dead body you don't,"

"Rick-"

"No Hailey, this guy cant just come out of nowhere and ruin our relationship because of your past with him,"

"Rick, were best friends.... Nothing more your still married you know,"

"Wait.... Your married?" Jacqui asked wide eyes. 

"I'm not sure if they are still alive were trying to find them my wife and kid,"

"You have a whole wife and kid yet you wanna sit here and mess around with her?"

"Its not like that.... We haven't done anything were literally just best friends,"

"Hey, T-Dog, now that the drama is over try that C.B. Can you contact the others? I'm Morales by the way," he introduced. 

"Nice to meet you Morales," Hailey said with a smile and a nod. 

"Others? The refugee center?" Rick asked shocked and glad that the attention was drifted away from him. 

Because Him and Hailey's relationship is kind of confusing at the moment. 

"Yeah, the refugee center. They've got biscuits waiting at the oven for us," Jacqui answers sarcastically causing Hailey to chuckle as Rick playfully glared at her. 

T-Dog tries to get in contact with some other survivors but get no signal.

"Got no signal. Maybe the roof," he said just as the others nodded, however they heard gun firing on the roof. 

"Oh no. Is that Dixon?" Andrea asked confusing Hailey. 

Who was Dixon?

"What is that maniac doing?" Morales asked rolling his eyes. 

"Come on, let's go, Hailey," Glenn says with a smile as he held out his hand for her. 

She smiles and nods as she takes his hand as the group began running to the roof. It doesn't go unnoticed by Rick with the amount of feelings they have for one another, one way or another Hailey belongs to him. 

She will always belong to him. No matter if he was a married man or not. One thing was for sure in Rick Grimes's mind, and that is He belongs to Hailey.

And he won't let anyone get in the way of their relationship, and he for sure isn't gonna let some Asian boy she dated for 7 months get between them.
