Vincent's POV
We walked by the huge line of people, earning a nervous glance from PG. "Uhh, Vin-"
I held a hand up, "It's ok, I got this, PG." Walking up to the big, husky security guard that was guarding the entrance, I motioned my head for him to move out of the way. "Step aside," I commanded simply and sternly. He nodded and let me and PG pass through, giving PG a hard stare.
His jaw dropped, with a gaze that went from me, to the guard, back and forth. He raised a finger, "Just, how?"
I tipped an imaginary hat and smiled, "I'm well known 'round these parts."
PG just went along and shook his head, muttering, "Holy crud, you're popular."
We entered the biulding. Loud rave music surrounded us along with flashing lights and absurdly dressed people. Some were glow in the dark, others had make up making them look like clowns, and I even saw two people dressed in a green giraffe suit. Typical. I fit right in with my violet colors.
Grabbing PG's hand so I wouldn't loose him, I gently began leading him through the crowd. I've been here before, so I knew where everthing was. I heard PG yelp when he slipped from my grasp. Turning around, I shouted his name, hoping he could hear me. I was the first to catch sight of him again so I grabbed his wrist and pulled him out of the crowd, making him fall onto my chest. I raised my eyebrows and smirked, "Hey there, handsome."
His face flushed red and he pushed me away from him. At least he tried to, I stubbornly clutched onto him and laughed, "Where you going babe?! I thought we had something special!"
"Vincent, let go!" He laughed, playfully struggling away from me, pushing my face away as I kept leaning in, as if trying to kiss him.
For one moment, we stopped, and looked into each others eyes. The rave music faded, I was only staring at PG's grey eyes, that beautiful, bright orange in the middle. They reminded me of someone's eyes in particular, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
PG realized how close we were getting and then pushed me for real. I regrettably let go. He coughed into his fist, a light hue on his cheeks, "So uh, where are we going?"
A smile split my cheeks, "You'll see." I turned around, forcing PG to follow me without any help. Ah, we're almost there anyway.
I found what I was looking for and sat at the front counter, waiting for someone to attend to my needs. PG sat with a huff next to me a looked around curiously. Realization hit his face, and just when he was about to speak, the bartender approached me. I told what I wanted and soon after, there were two mugs of beer sliding in my direction. I handed one to PG and winked, motioning for him drink. He sighed, and with a smile, he took a gulp.
Satisfied with my work, I chugged some of mine until I almost spit it out when a large handed patted my back roughly. A familiar, bellowing voice practically yelled in my ear, "Well! If it iznt Mr. Vincent!" His russian accent along with alcohol made it hard to understand.
"Vassa," I growled, turning around to face the bear of a man, "Watch the back."
He gave a hearty laugh, "Ahhh, yur the zame az you've alwayz been!" The man in front of me had a dark scruff growing into a potential beard, along with dark hair and piercing navy blue eyes. Judging by his thick arms and muscle mass, you do not want to get in a fight with this guy. Of course, I could easily take him down if I wanted to.
PG gave me a panicked and puzzled look, not knowing what to do or say. I reassured him, "He's a friend," I motioned to the big burly man, "This is Vassa."
Vassa eyed PG, "And what is a svyetoychik like you doing in such a place like this?" Damnit, I knew he would stick out like a thorn.
"Uh, I'm uh, here with Vincent," PG laughed nervously and motioned towards me. I never knew he could be so shy.
Vassa patted his shoulder, making him cringe at the contact, "Well, Congratz! You've befriended one of the mozt m-" I glared at him, not wanting him to give anything out. He took the message and refrased his sentence, "Stubborn az an ass he iz, but a very colorful man."
That made PG chuckle slightly at his pun. Like I haven't heard that one before. I rolled my eyes, "If you want, I can show you my colorful speech as well!"
Vassa shook his head a laughed again, "No need for it!" He turned away, "Anywayz, you two enjoy the party! Poka!" Giving a small wave, he disappeared into the large, constantly shifting crowd.
PG stared at me wide eyed, "Are all your friends like that?!"
I shrugged, "Do you mean Russian? Well a few of them are." By a few, I ment several.
PG chugged the rest of his glass and slammed it on the counter. He waved to the bartender, "Hey could I have a refill!?"
I watched him, amused. To be honest, I didn't think he'd be much of a drinker. Well, as long as we can both enjoy it, I don't mind. "Hey," I smirked, "Slow down! The night's still young."
He gave me a scowl and tried sipping his mug of alcohol, but after a few more minutes, he was gulping again. I sighed, "PG! At least let me catch up."
PG set down his mug. "Scott."
I furrowed my brows together, "Pardon?"
"My name's Scott. That's my real name."
I raised my eyebrows. I admit it, I actually thought PG was his real name. "So PG is just a nickname?"
He nodded, "Yeah, it stands for Phone Guy. When I was working at Freddy's, I always talked on the phone with a prerecorded message for the Newbies. PG was what everyone's been calling me and it stuck." PG then sighed and looked down at his mug, "But I guess the boss is realizing that's not working, so he sent me to the night shift with you. I don't even have my day shift anymore."
I scratched the nape of my neck sheepishly, "Sorry you have to babysit me."
"No, no!" He objected, "I really don't mind." He then smiled, "I like spending time with you."
I was a little taken aback by his affection towards me and I felt a little sting on my cheeks. "Thanks, same with you." I paused and smirked, "Scotty~"
"No, anything but Scotty," he complained.
I winked at him and clicked, "No problem, Scottelicious."
Scott actually laughed at that nickname, "When I get the chance, I'm gonna call you ridiculous nicknames. You wait and see!"
We laughed away at the bar. With the night barely started, there was so much more to do! We just have to hurry up and do it, the night won't last forever ;)
