After Marley came back from her daily visit to Xavier's dorm, she opened the door to find Wednesday peeling off the bright colours on their window, well one half of it at least.

"Enid's gonna be pissed at you y'know?" Marley questioned.

"Well she shouldn't because it's my half of the room now, not hers." She retorted.

"Yeah well it used to be mine before we got told we're having a new roommate." She responded walking over to her desk and pulling out a butterfly knife, "I'm still annoyed at that by the way." She informed while playing with the knife.

"Quite the moves you've got there." She complimented, something she never does. "Can I try?" She asked, yet another thing she never does.

"Be my guest." Marley offered her the knife after closing it.

Wednesday took it, carefully inspecting it before showing off her tricks.

"Nice moves." Marley quoted, "where'd you learn?"

"My Uncle Fester taught me when I was eight years old." She replied, not taking her eyes away from the girl as she gave the knife back. "What about you?" She questioned, trying to find out more about Marlene Broditch.

"Self taught." She said putting the knife back in her desk drawer. When she looked up she noticed something on Wednesday's desk. "Hey is that my rubix cube?" She asked, referring to the black, white and grey one she painted a few months ago to make the challenge harder. It didn't work.

"Yes I saw it while I was unpacking my things, I was curious about it but you can take it back if you like."

"Nah it's fine, you keep it." She insisted. "Besides it's suits your... aesthetic." She said waving her hand in Wednesday's general direction.

"Thank you." She replied walking back over to the window to finish the job she started.

Marley guessed this was the end of their conversation and sat on her bed, finishing up some homework she got given today.

A few minutes later Enid enters the room.

"What the hell did you do to my room?!?" She asked.

"Dividing our room equally." Marley replied.

Wednesday kicked the cellophane onto Enid and Marley's 'side' of the taped off room.

"It looks like a rainbow vomited on your side." She deadpanned, yet again.

"I-." Enid went to reply but was cut off almost immediately.

"Silence would be appreciated. This is my writing time." Wednesday informed as she took a seat in front of the typewriter on her desk while rolling up the sleeves of her oversized jacket, which Marley thought looked adorable on her.

'Wait... what?'

"Your writing time?" Enid said bringing Marley out of her thoughts.

"I devote and hour a day to my novel." The goth girl informed. "Perhaps if you did the same, your blog might be coherent. I've read serial killer diaries with better punctuation." She sassed.

'How did she read the blog if she doesn't use technology?' Yet again Marley was asking the utmost important questions.

"I write in my voice." Enid retaliated, getting defensive. "It's my truth. It's what my followers love."

"Your followers are clearly imbeciles." She said standing out of her chair and walking up to the blonde and brunette, one paying attention, the other... not so much.
