They broke apart at the sound of an excited squeal coming from none other than the one roommate who wasn't on the balcony at that very moment. Wednesday's hands stayed around Marley's neck and hers on Wednesday's hips. Given that Marley was the one facing the only entrance to the balcony, she was the one to see the perky blonde.
"Hi Enid." She said, noticing how Wednesday's grip on her neck loosened, now knowing that the intruder was their friend.
"'Hi Enid'? That's all I get after walking in on this?" The blonde said, now walking towards the two. Wednesday slowly removed her hands from Marley's neck and made her way to stand by her side.
"Well I'm honestly not sure what I was supposed to say." The brunette told her.
"Well then tell me what the hell this is! Are you guys dating? Omg please say that you are!" She said, making her way closer to her other roommates, vibrating with excitement.
Marley and Wednesday turned to each other, they hadn't exactly defined what they were, they just knew that they liked each other and enjoyed each other's company. There was also the plus of that when they were together, alone it would often end in them kissing. Another benefit to this little 'situationship' that they had.
"Marley and I are not dating, but we also aren't not attracted to each other." Wednesday said. "We haven't exactly talked about this topic, because most of the time we spend together alone, we aren't talking."
Marley's eyes widened at the blunt but true statement that the goth said, Enid jumping up and down, obviously happy for them, whether they were dating or not, she was happy they both finally realised they liked each other so she no longer had to suffer in silence watching them mutually pine over each other.
"Well whatever it is, I'm glad that you both finally admitted that you like each other." The werewolf told them.
The girls looked at each other, curious as to what she meant by this.
"What do you mean Enid?" Marley questioned.
"I'm just saying, do you know how hard it is to watch the two of you pine over each other and not be able to do anything about it?" She started. "And Mars, you know how much I love playing matchmaker. But Thing said that I have to let you two work this one out on your own and I am so so so glad that I did. That reminds me, I owe him a lot of money."
"You bet on how long it would take for us to admit our feelings for each other?" The brunette asked.
"Mhm." She said, looking at both of them "It just made it exciting! Don't be mad, you would've done the same if it was me and Ajax but once again, you were too caught up in your feelings."
"I hate that you're right." Marley muttered.
"I have to say Enid, I admire you for making the bet. But I am also not surprised that you lost it. You tend to be less logical with things you're passionate about." Wednesday spoke up.
"Well thank you Wednesday." She said, "And Mars, I'm always right." She then disappeared back into their dorm.
"That was a strange interaction."
"Indeed." Wednesday started. "Now come on, you need to help me pack. Thing will be no help at all, he'll never want to leave this godforsaken place."
"You don't like it here?" Marley asked, turning to look at the shorter girl.
"Well, there are some good parts I suppose." She quipped back, a smile forming as she looked into Marley's eyes.
"Yeah that's what I thought." She mumbled, leaning down to peck Wednesday's lips before she took her hand and led them into the dorm.
