'You met the prince of Chang'An and his bodyguard today? Well then why did you not finish the job yourself and get that dagger?' Asked the third prince.
'It wasn't the right time, it's illogical that anyone would be able to break into the royal palace when night haven't fallen. Even if they did, it's idiotic that they would go and harm that nameless prince instead of going for something with a bigger prize in this royal palace.' Sighed Li Jun.
'Then, how did you know that little bodyguard's martial arts is on pars with yours? You guys must've exchanged blows for you to discover that.' Wondered the third prince.
'The pavilion that prince was placed in is the small pavilion where my mother used to reside in. I go there once a month to tend to the plants and clean up. Unexpectedly, when I got there I saw an unfamiliar person. Enraged, I was a bit forceful towards but it turns out that he was the prince of Chang'An. That bodyguard snatched that little guy when he was still in my grasp. Naturally, his martial arts have to be equal if not stronger than mine.' Explained the crown prince leisurely, not the least bit disturbed by the fact that some random guy's martial arts is stronger than his.
'Then what does that mean? In order to learn martial arts, one has to either by raised by the royal family and trained to be a royal guard since a kid or have a strong noble background. I've did some background check on that bodyguard you want to get rid of and his origin is unknown. He was only recruited by the emperor of Chang'An to protect the princess when he was 17 years old before being transferred to protect prince Xiang Ning. Even if he were to learn martial arts outside the palace, it could only me some normal martial arts.'
Li Jun stayed silent, his gaze contemplating.
'Tell your subordinates to stay put, but proceed with the royal banquet.' Said Li Jun.

Xiang Ning grabbed the cloth and dipped it into the medicine before tremblingly put it on his wound. The pain was hard to bear and he hissed in agony.
Fearing pain, he put the cloth down and stood up, wanting to go read books instead.
Suddenly, a warm hand grabbed his wrist.
He Chang stared at the prince in confusion.
'You haven't dressed your wound.' Said he.
Xiang Ning was kind of happy that this man cared for him but reality is cruel. He smiled and shook the hand off before taking a step back.
'It's okay, it will heal.'
'It's going to leave a scar.' Said He Chang with furrowed eyebrows.
Xiang Ning sighed
'I'm fine with a scar.'
He Chang took a deep breath before pulling the prince towards the bed.
'Chang-ge! I'm fine, you don't need to do this!'
Pressing the prince to sit down on the soft mattress, He Chang walked to grab the medicinal tray from the table and came to sit beside the little prince.
'Be quiet.' He said, his face still ice cold.
Brewing the medicine a little, he grabbed a new cloth and wrap it into a small ball and dipped it into the medicine. He then lifted it up and stared at Xiang Ning.
'Take your robe off.'
Xiang Ning's doe eyes widened, his little face blushing into a tomato shade.
He Chang's face bloomed into a smile before a soft sound of chuckle leave his throat.
