Midnight is slowly approaching and the forest is obviously so quiet to the point that even a drop of needle could be heard. Even the sounds of night crickets are nowhere to be heard.

The handsome face belonging to the spy of Hu looked up, he turned his face to the distance. He seems to be glancing towards this direction a lot. What could it possibly be? To be able to make the always nonchalant unfeeling spy turn to look multiple times like this?

He couldn't help but rub his thumb over the soft sensation for a little before finally lifting the prince up in a bridal style. This guy is so light, what has he been eating?

He sat down on a comfortable place and laid his body back. He placed the prince above his body facing downwards. Xiang Ning, after receiving a much more comfortable position to sleep in, began snuggling into the taller man's chest.

The said taller man stiffened up. He'd never been this close to anyone when sleeping. Nevertheless, he slowly but surely drifted into a peaceful sleep.

This way, the prince can have a comfortable sleep.

Madam Jin walked out of her Jin residence. She is impatiently pacing back and forth.

'Where are those kids?' She muttered, really anxious and restless.

'Mom!'

She turned around in hope as soon as she heard Jin Xuan's voice in the distance. To her shock, she could see Jin Shan laying unconscious on top of his younger brother's back.

'What happened to A'Shan?' Asked madam Jin worriedly.

'Long story, I think we better tie him up with restraints if we want him to stay.' Said Jin Xuan.

Madam Jin did not further ask any questions, she nodded to her servants which understood their tasks immediately.

Jin Xuan hesitantly released his brother's acupuncture. Jin Shan finally showed some movements. He groaned and slowly open his eyes.

He is currently being held to the wall with giant chains. He really cannot move at all.

Madam Jin stared at her son's face, she had already taken off the human skin mask so now Jin Shan's real face is showing. She felt so happy upon seeing the son she haven't seen in a while.

'A'Shan, why did you run away? Mom is very worried for the past few months!'

Jin Shan did not say anything.

'Mother, release me.' He said, in his usual icy tone.

Madam Jin sighed.

'Aiya, sooner or later you're going to take over the clan anyway. Why are you trying to escape this responsibility? Also, what is wrong with Ting Ting? She is a good girl and has a strong background. You guys grew up together. Isn't it a perfect match?'

Jin Shan's eyes grew heavier as the second passes. The temperature in the room dropped.

Jin Xuan noticed the oncoming danger. He knows that a few chains are not going to restrain his brother and it will be impossible for him to hit his acupuncture again. He succeeded the first time was because Jin Shan was raging and was careless.
