Before Optimus became Prime he and Ratchet joined the decepticons when there were only a small army. Ratchet was a commander and Optimus was an Assassin/ servant for Ratchet. Optimus was considered a deadly nobles pet and as such was branded pierced and marked by Ratchet to identify as his. With armor on you cant see any of it but stripped to Protoform he has a set of doorwings and piercings up his side and back aswell as a small dangling piercing near his neck just under the collar line. He has a medium brand on his shoulder and upper back and a few marks Ratchet gave him during interface that he never fixed. While being a pet Optimus was never used by anyone else besides Ratchet making them mates instead but still acting like pet and master.
