Ultra Magnus sat with Fort Max in his lap, holding him close and stroking his armor gently. The giant Autobot had fallen asleep, exhausted from the battles they had faced that day.

Ultra Magnus didn't want to disturb him, so he stayed in the same position for hours, letting Fort Max rest in his arms. He knew how important it was for the giant Autobot to get the rest he needed, especially after the intense battles they had faced.

As the hours passed, Ultra Magnus felt his own energy waning. He was tired from the long day, but he didn't want to move and wake Fort Max. He knew how important it was for him to get his rest.

So he sat there, holding Fort Max close and listening to his steady breathing. It was a peaceful moment, and Ultra Magnus felt grateful for the chance to just sit and be with his friend.

Finally, as the early morning light started to filter into the room, Ultra Magnus carefully shifted his position, cradling Fort Max's head in his arm. He slowly stood up, careful not to wake him, and carried him over to his berth.

As he laid Fort Max down on the berth and covered him with a blanket, Ultra Magnus felt a sense of satisfaction. He had done what he could to help his friend get the rest he needed, and he knew that they would both be better for it in the long run.

With a final glance at Fort Max, Ultra Magnus headed to his own berth, ready to get some rest of his own. But as he closed his optics, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the chance to be there for his friend, and for the strong bond they shared as Autobots.

As Ultra Magnus settled into his own berth, he couldn't help but think about the events of the day. It had been a tough battle, but they had come out victorious in the end.

He thought about Fort Max, and how strong and brave he had been in the face of danger. Ultra Magnus knew that he could always count on Fort Max to have his back in battle, and that was a comforting thought.

But he also knew that it was important to take care of each other outside of battle, as well. That was why he had stayed with Fort Max for so long, making sure that he got the rest he needed.

As he drifted off to recharge, Ultra Magnus felt a sense of peace and contentment. He knew that they would face many more battles in the future, but he also knew that they had each other to rely on. And that was all that really mattered in the end.

Fort Maximus woke up abruptly, his body shaking violently as he tried to regain control of his thoughts. He had been plagued by a nightmare, one that had left him feeling scared and vulnerable.

He knew that he needed to talk to someone about it, to get some reassurance and comfort. And there was only one bot he trusted enough to turn to - Ultra Magnus.

Without hesitation, Fort Max got up from his berth and made his way to Ultra Magnus's quarters. He knocked softly on the door, waiting for his friend to answer.

When Ultra Magnus opened the door and saw Fort Max standing there, he knew immediately that something was wrong. "What's the matter, Fort Max?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

"I had a nightmare," Fort Max said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I needed someone to talk to. I couldn't shake it off."

"Of course," Ultra Magnus said, gesturing for him to come inside. "Sit down, and tell me all about it."

Fort Max sat down on the couch, his head in his hands. "It was about the Decepticons," he said. "They had captured me, and I couldn't escape. They were torturing me, and I felt so helpless."

Ultra Magnus put a hand on his shoulder, trying to offer him some comfort. "I understand how you feel," he said. "But you know that we won't let that happen. We'll always have each other's backs, no matter what."

Fort Max nodded, feeling slightly better. "Thank you," he said. "I just needed to hear that."

"Anytime," Ultra Magnus said, giving him a reassuring smile. "We're in this together, Fort Max. You're not alone."

Fort Max took a deep breath, feeling his body start to relax. He knew that he could always count on Ultra Magnus to be there for him, no matter what. And that was a comforting thought.
