CHAPTER 3: Unwanted Guest! 😤

Darby got himself inside of the ring and turned to me with that stupid grin of his. To me it's stupid.

"Sup Ryan! How's it going man?" He asked me in a laid back manner while raising his hand up for a high five.

I just kept a resting bitch face and folded my arms in front, not at all impressed by his easy-going gesture.

Like what in the fuck?? Does he think this shit is supposed to make me think he's cool??

I don't like you bruhh!! The fuck outta here with that lame greeting.

Soon I respond "Well it WAS all fine and dandy...But I guess it's a good idea for you to participate in this training....." then I turned my head away, muttering to myself "As a punching bag........."

"Whhhat?......." Darby lightly chuckled out. I could tell by the tone of his voice that he was baffled. That indicated to me that he didn't heard the last bit I said.

I turned back to him and acted as if I didn't say anything. "What?........"

Soon my dad got both of out attention by one single clap. "Okay! Let's get started! Ryan, Darby. Let's start off with a bit of rebounding from the ropes and work on your athleticism"

Me and Darby nodded as we first did a bit of warming up and some stretches for a few. Then when we were ready, my dad signaled us to begin.

Me and Darby would sprint across the ring, rebounding from rope to rope. We went on like that for about a minute or so. My calf muscles had a burning sensation while tensing up when going back and forth.

When my dad told us to stop, we did and I took a moment to catch my breath while Darby leaned forward, resting against the ropes.

Steve then went over to me and Darby.
"Okay, now that we got that out of the way. You two could start by squaring off and work on a few moves that you want to improve"

I went to get myself into position while I leered over at this pathetic worm, remaining dead serious. I know it's only training but I couldn't contain how competitive I felt.

I saw Darby got in position and looked more than eager to begin training until my dad signaled for us to go.

Both me and Darby kept our distance for a few, circling around in the ring for a bit and little by little, got near each other as our fingers slowly interwind. Then eventually we both locked up together and began grappling.
