CHAPTER 34: Where To?
I arrived at AEW knowing that I don't have a match, I only came because Skye was going to be here since she was going to speak to Tony.
With that being said, I walked on my way over to Tony's office and when I arrived at the door, I stopped to hear Skye and Mr. Khan discuss on future bookings and planning things out.
After hearing them speak I then saw Skye came out and was greeted with her adorable, gracious smile.
"Hey Ryan!" She brightly spoke
"Bluebell!" I smiled
Then we both exchanged hugs that felt all nice and snug. When pulling back I shoved my hands into the pocket of my jeans and asked her.
"So what did Tony say? Did he book you into any future events?"
"He did actually! I'm not precisely sure when since he has many other bookings to set up. But he would like me to accompany you at ringside for AEW Dark!"
"No kidding! That's great!! Did he say who I'll be going against?"
Skye shrugged "That's what he's figuring out right now. He'll notify us once it's set"
Feeling enthusiastic on the news, I was going to going to say something until Darby came strolling his way over on his skateboard.
'Great. Perfect timing....' I thought sarcastically to myself.
Darby soon stopped as he kicked his skateboard up to hold while glancing at both me and Skye. "Sup you guys? Watcha up to?"
"Nothing now that you're here...." I mumbled.
Skye giggled softly and turned to Darby "He's kidding. We'll both be heading out for our second date" she replied.
"Oh cool. You two know where you'll be heading out to for a date?" Darby asked.
Hearing that question I actually didn't have any ideas on where to go with Skye. Considering the fact that I'm not too familiar with the state of Pennsylvania. Especially in Pittsburgh. I mean I have flew here a few times for a wrestling show but that's already a long time ago so I don't know which is where.
It ain't Disney World you know, not even Six Flags! So my mind was entirely blank since I don't have an idea where to take a beautiful babe on a date to.
Obviously I don't want it to be boring and lame, that'll suck for sure.
Clearly I could see Skye was stuck, she didn't had the slightest clue either on where we'll head out to.
"To be real with you, we haven't decided yet. But we'll figure that out now" Skye replied to Darby then she turned to me.
"We could both browse through the internet to see what we could do here in Pittsburgh" Skye said while pulling out her phone and went to Google to search up things to do.
The two of us looked over a list online on things to do in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and all I saw were mostly boring museums or dull parks, nothing very exciting.
Like who goes to a museum for a date?? Like what??.....
I glanced over at Skye "How are you feeling about any of these?"
"Well.........." she began while looking pretty uncertain about it.
"How about we just head out to a laser tag place? To a movie? Or go bowling perhaps?" She suggested.
These sound like much better options to me so I gladly responded "We can go out for laser tag, hell we could go bowling as well, I'm all for it" I smiled eagerly.
Skye smiles back brightly "Then it's settled! Can't wait to kick your ass in a laser tag game!" She teased.
Darby stood glancing at us and spoke "Be sure to give me an update on who wins for laser tag and bowling."
Then Darby goes to nudge me while he leaned close to snicker "Would be awesome to hear that you'll get your ass kicked by a girl"
I rolled my eyes feeling annoyed and gave him a side glance "Would be a lot funnier if I kick your ass, Darby......" I muttered to him.
Darby let's out a chuckle while patting my back "No sweat, man. I'm sure you both will have one hell of a good time" he responds in a laid back tone then leaned by my ear only for me to hear.
"If you ever need a pack of condoms, there's a nearby CVS over at-"
I felt myself become irritated as I attempted to swing at him but Darby swiftly ducks and took a few quick steps away with his skateboard while laughing softly.
"Shut the hell up, Darby! You play too much, man!!......" I spoke in annoyance while pointing over at him.
Skye giggled while she glanced over at me with a bit of confusion in her eyes. "What did he say?..."
I gently shook my head, unamused of Darby then turned my head back to look at her "Nothing. Just some ridiculous nonsense, he's like that..."
Then I hear Darby holler out to us "Enjoy the date! And don't stay out too late!" He teased.
I gave him the stink eye then flipped him off🖕
Darby wasn't phased by it as he would lastly say "Rock on, Ryan!" While holding out a rock sign hand gesture then got on his skateboard to roll away.
Once he was out of sight, I gazed back to my precious bluebell. "Ready for our second date to begin?"
"Yeah! Let's get a move on!" Skye eagerly spoke out as she took a hold of my hand, running as she drags me along with her, on our way out to officially start our date.
