CHAPTER 61: The TNT Title Match!
Darby's theme went on, the arena grew dark with a dim blue illuminating lights. Me and Nick stepped out while Darby was making his entrance as the fans were cheering.
Once Darby was in the ring and took off his jacket, both Nick and I stood out by the apron, waiting for his opponent to come out.
First, Christian Cage came out with the TNT title displaying over his left shoulder. Then not long after, a scary and intimidating theme song went off as Luchasaurus then came out as both him and Christian made their entrance.
Good god, this guy is just as intimidating and scary as his theme song. He's even got more size advantage comparing to the slim athlete, Darby Allin. Seeing him got me thinking with some concern.
'Ohhhh shit, he's fucked!!'
But I had to push these thoughts aside since I wanted to look into the positive side of this. Darby may not be physically muscular or big but he's pretty slick and fast when it comes to wrestling. He's like a cat, he always lands back on his feet.
I turned to Nick and could see the slight worry within his gaze alone and I completely understand how he's feeling. I pat is back in comfort and assured him "Don't worry, he'll be okay. He's very fast when it comes to big guys like Luchasaurus"
Nick turned to me as he sucked in a deep breath and lightly exhales to maintain cool and collective while responding to me with a nod.
Once Luchasaurus was in the ring and the ref takes the belt to put away to the side. As soon as the bell rings, Darby immediately charges at Luchasaurus.
Luchasaurus goes to throw Darby towards the ropes then charged at him. Darby was able to duck and pulled down the rope, sending Luchasaurus out of the ring.
Luchasaurus goes to hop back onto the ringside apron to grab the slim athlete but Darby smacked him off, then launches over the rope to stomp on his hand.
Luchasaurus groaned on pain causing him to move his hand away and turned his back to him. Darby soon jumped onto his big opponent, hitting him a few times then got off to send Luchasaurus back, resulting him to hit his back against the side of the ring.
Darby took a few steps back and charged at him again but Luchasaurus caught him and roughly irish whipped him into the steel guardrail. Darby was wincing in pain and started dragging himself across the floor of the outside of the ring.
