CHAPTER 48: Or else.........👀
When I headed out into the arena, some fans cheered for me while I made my entrance, going down the ramp and entering the ring.
I took in the energy from the crowd that cheered for me, I may not have the entire arena rooting for me but I was still very much appreciated for the fans I have.
Once my theme song ended, I went to stay at my corner, doing a little warm up, waiting for my opponent.
When another theme song went off, fans began cheering more loudly than they did for me.
They were much more louder when Hook came out and made his way down while holding his FTW title, keeping a tough serious face as usual.
He walked all around the ring like he usually does then went up the steel steps and entered the ring. Once he's in the ring, he handed his belt to the ref for him to put away.
Hook focused on me and I kept my game face and concentration on him. Clearly we were ready to rumble, once the ref was back in the ring, he signaled for the match to begin as the bell rings.
We both approached each other in the center of the ring, staring each other down, Hook wasn't intimidated by me and I wasn't intimidated by him.
Then we both went and locked up, I had more advantage than he did as I was able to get him in a wrist lock, remaining a pretty firm hold on him for a few.
Hook winces some while I kept a good wrist lock on him and then I backed him up against the ropes, I went ahead to irish whip him, sending him across the ring, causing him to rebound from the other ropes. I ducked down quickly as Hook was rebounding.
I rapidly bent down, expecting to flip him, but Hook stopped to landed a hard forearm onto my back, causing me to drop down. My opponent then went to go stand behind me, getting me up on my knees and goes to do a few crossface strikes onto me.
Then he got me up, striking me with a few right hand hits and did a brain chop to my head. Hook goes to irish whip me toward the ropes and hits me with a hard running lariat. (Kind of like a clothesline)
The fans were rooting for Hook and were loud with it.
I haven't and not once have I underestimated this young athlete but he is indeed a tough son of a bitch.
I slowly sat up, seeing him approach over and goes to punch me on the head a few times then goes to get me up to plant the Northern Lights suplex on me and pins me down from that move.
I kicked out at one.
Already I felt like I've been used as a punching bag cause that's how warned out I was feeling. Hook goes to get me up on my feet and was going to deliver one of his powerful suplex's but I countered by reversing into a belly to belly suplex.
With my opponent down, I went over to get him up his feet to do my striking combos.
A Quick right punch, left hook and a right high kick.
From there I irish whip him into the corner and sprinted towards my opponent, doing the Stinger Splash on him. I irish whip him towards the opposite corner and did the stinger splash one more time, successfully getting him.
I did my signature howl at the corner towards the crowd. "Awoooooooooooo!!!" My fans cheered and applauded while soaking the energy from them then I went to go hoist him up onto the top rope of the corner.
That's when I went ahead to go do my first signature move, it's called the Rebelanche Bulldog (avalanche bulldog)
As I successfully hit the move, I quickly went for the cover but Hook kicked out at one! He's a bit more challenging than I thought but nothing's wrong with that, I don't mind a challenge at all.
It was a decently back and forth match, the two of us traded blows and counter each other's moves.
I even proved that I can be just as tough as he is. I did a few arm drags on him, tossed him out the ring and even did a superplex on him from the top turnbuckle.
Meanwhile in the match.
Just as I was going to do my finisher on him Wolf's Creek.
Hook easily got out of it and quickly went behind to do his finisher called Redrum (a half Nelson choke).
He kept a very firm grip on me while I was struggling and tried to do everything that I could to get out of it. His grip was just as tight as a vicious anaconda snake. Also I felt like I was about to pass out so I ended up tapping out and then the referee called the match.
This led to Hook winning as he released me and got right up on his feet. I quickly went over to the corner to recover and catch my breath.
Just when Hook was about to leave the ring, a dark, glitchy effect appeared on the titantron screen and the lights in the arena were acting up, they were flickering as if an evil spirit has been conjured up.
This caught the crowds interest as they were becoming loud while I sat up, completely thrown off by this. I just sat there, glancing up at the big screen above the entrance of the arena.
Soon, some words appeared with a creepy, deep voice reading it.
'ℜ𝔢𝔟𝔢𝔩 𝔚𝔬𝔩𝔣....' it began.
Then other two words popped up on the screen with that same, deep voice reading it. Like that deep creepy voice from the original second Evil Dead movie.
'𝔍𝔬𝔦𝔫 𝔲𝔰.....'
I remained still down in the corner as I carefully watched on but I have a feeling that it was that stalker again.
First the photo's within the envelopes and now this. My heart was pounding hard and my throat tensed up causing tight pressure. I legit was getting goosebumps all over and chills running down my spine. Not in a positive way.
Then two words appeared on the screen again
'𝔒𝔯 𝔢𝔩𝔰𝔢.....'
Suddenly a footage played after these little messages, a clip of somebody recording with night vision, the sound of their shoes made graveling sounds against the ground.
Then the camera goes to pan up on some apartment building. It would zoom up into an apartment window, through that window there was a girl fixing up her hair.
When I looked closely I recognized the girl, it was Skye!
Immediately I jump to my feet as concern wept over my face and took a few steps close to the ropes to see the screen better.
The clip ended as one last message appeared on a black glitchy screen along with that deep, creepy voice reading it.
'𝔜𝔬𝔲 𝔥𝔞𝔳𝔢 𝔟𝔢𝔢𝔫 𝔴𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔢𝔡'
From there the entire thing ended and the lights in the arena went back to normal.
My heart was literally in my throat, throbbing hard while I was begining to feel lightheaded.
Hook even turned to me with a straight face, looking at the titantron screen and looking at me once more then shook his head as he left the ring to head back.
I stood in shock for a while as my mind couldn't comprehend on how far this was going, this alone was a lot of pressure on me and felt like my breath was cutting short with each second.
Eventually I decided to go return backstage, hopefully from there I'd get help and find some answers.
