Chance's POV:

I'd never spent a large amount of time outside, but spring flowers were truly the prettiest. In a pretty blue dress with Egan in spider monkey form around my back, I sat in the meadow with Michael, eating from the strawberry fields as the wedding party danced about the pavilion below us. Since defeating the demons, I'd been living most of the time at Camp Half-Blood. Brother had been pretty busy working with the Demigods and Hunters organizing an effort at driving the monsters out of North America. Brother said we were still a long way from reaching that goal, but for the first time in thousands of years, mortals and half-bloods were working together to rid the world of monsters.

"Chance!" Leo was holding Claire's hand at the edge of the dance floor, both of them waving to me.

"He's already got his toolbelt back on," I sighed as I got up and dusted the grass off my dress. "It doesn't go with his tux."

"And a trash can lid goes with your dress?" Michael asked as I hovered the metal lid over to me.

"Shut up," I sat on the trash can lid and flew down the hill to Leo and Claire waiting for me.

"It's a party, Chance," Claire looked very pretty in the sleek white dress, but we couldn't convince her not to wear the thigh holster and pistol. "Come dance with us."

"I'll go dance with Sam," I shook my head. "It's your wedding, you guys should dance together."

"If you insist," Leo gave me a quick hug before taking his bride's hand again. "You want to lose the heels?"

"My feet are dying," Claire kicked them off the edge of the pavilion with a grin. "Can you keep up?"

I floated on my trash can lid over the heads of the crowd. Listening to them flirt makes me gag. Several hunters were having a ball on the dance floor, and I spotted Jody and Alex dancing like there was no tomorrow. My guess was they were drunk, like most of the hunters, but at least they were having fun. Piper was sitting at a table near the front of the pavillion giggling like a mad woman as Jason tried to support his drunk wife.  Earlier I'd seen several of Leo's friends, including Percy and Annabeth slipping off to the lake and others to the forest, but all in good spirits as festivities spread across the whole camp. At the tables around the edge of the pavilion, Sam and Dean were sitting drinking beer while Cas tried to empty his never ending mug.

"Sam," I floated down to the floor and slung the trash can lid over my shoulder. Egan grabbed onto it, wrapping it snugly to my body. "I want to dance."

"What?" Sam asked with a startled expression. "With me?"

"Dean won't dance," I shrugged. "So you have to."

"Smart kid," Dean whacked Sam's arms with a smirk. "Go on, Sammy."

"Uh, alright," Sam awkwardly got to his feet and let me drag him to the dance floor.

"Hey Sam?" I smiled as  we reached the center of the party. "I think we're okay now."

"Okay now?" Sam asked. "What do you mean?"

"Everyone is different here," I started to sway along to the music. Apollo campers and Satyrs alike creating a coursing melody. "Being different is normal. It's place we can make safe and be happy, even if we are weird."

"Sure," Sam awkwardly started dancing with me, spinning me around in time to the music. "That sounds good."
