"Look at her."

"She's such a freak."

"Hey, loser, do my homework?"

"Are you sure she's smart enough too?"

"She's going to be stuck here for the rest of her life."

Every day. Every day I hear that when I walk down the halls of my school. I can't wait until the bell rings for the end of the day. Sure all teenagers in high school can't wait for that final bell to ring for the day, but you can see why I can't wait. That's only a small part of it too. It gets worse. Sadly. But thankfully, when I get home, no one is ever home until late, so I'll be alone. I can just sit in front of my computer and be me.

Maybe I should introduce myself. I'm Layla Sage Kelley, but I just go by Layla Sage. I'm an 19 -I have a late birthday, so I was put into school later then I could have been- year old high school student that hates everyone in her school and in her home town. I just hate where I live. I can't wait for the end of school so I can move. Hopefully to LA, or London, somewhere as far away from Oregon as I can get. I know that California is only a state away from Oregon, but hopefully I'll get into the big time out in LA. Fat chance right? Yeah, I know, but a girl can dream right?

"Watch it loser." I hate people.

I sit through four class periods before the bell rings and I'm the first one out of the room and into my car. I was so ready for this weekend. Four days of heaven; not just because of no school, but no brother or parents. Heaven.

I drove home just about as fast as I could go. I park in my driveway, horribly if I might add, before I run into my house and to my room. I throw my bag into my closet and go right to my computer. I had to check YouTube. No not to see if anyone posted a video, well kind of, but to see if anyone watched or commented on mine. Yeah I have a YouTube channel. I sometimes do what some people would call a vlog, and maybe a challenge; but mostly I sing.

Typical right? A dumb teenager singing in front of a camera to people from different parts of the world through a video. The world really has come far hasn't it? Please do note my sarcasm. It's one of my best traits.

Alright, let's go into my inbox. 500 notifications. Wow. I scroll through them, seeing that most of them are likes, and many are comments. I go to my latest video which is a cover of Ariana Grande's, One Last Time. When I first heard that song I hated it. I don't know why, I just did for some reason. But after being asked to cover it so many times, I had to do it. So I learned how to play it on guitar and piano, and finally the lyrics. I learned to love the song. There was almost 1000 likes, which is almost the most that I've ever gotten on a video, the most was 2500 on a cover of One Directions Heart Attack, which I am shocked did so well because I didn't think people liked the song really. Anyways, back to the latest cover, it only had about 50 comments, which was better than nothing.

I scrolled through the comments, seeing very few bad ones. One caught my eye from a name that kind of shocked me at first. It was someone from Global Music Records. I figured that it was a fake and ignored it. I checked the rest of my videos and went to my email, finding an email that I wasn't expecting.

Global Music Records.
