"People are loving your new music video, they seriously think that you and Nathan belong together," Lacey says while sitting in my flat. The video came out only 12 hours after the premiere and people are freaking out over it. I've only just woken up after being up so late because of the premiere, Lacey has been here for two hours reading comments and reviews of the movie. She could honestly care less about what people think, I think that's why the two of us get along so well.

"It's never going to happen no matter how much I even want it too. Management told us no. Sadly I'm not going to risk my career for a guy." I sighed reading through a few comments myself.

"Don't say that. With these comments, they might have to let you two date. I mean he's helped you write most of the songs on your album, which comes out in less than two weeks. You're also on one of his songs, like come on." Lacey laughed. She was really confident that management was going to end up letting Nathan and me be together.

"We can only pray Lacey," I sighed when there was a knock on the door. It was most likely Nathan himself. "Speak of the devil himself." I slowly moved to open the door being engulfed in a hug once it opened and lifted off of the floor.

"What did I tell you?" I laughed seeing Lacey almost rolling around on the floor dying of laughter. "Hello to you too Nathan." I hugged him back finally and he set me back down on the ground.

"People are loving the video!" He exclaimed running into my flat. "People love us!"

"Yes, they do. But management doesn't." I sighed taking a seat next to him on the couch. He threw his arm around my shoulder placing a kiss on my cheek. He, just like Lacey believes that now management will let us date. So he's been extra, I guess lovey-dovey.

"They will! Just wait until you get a call from Leens saying that you're all set to love me. It'll be amazing! Plus your album coming out, this next couple of weeks is going to be amazing." Nathan grinned. He was way too confident about this.

"Whatever you say, Nath. I'll believe it when it happens." I sighed as my phone began to ring. Looking down it was Leens, Nathan smirked. I rolled my eyes walking out of the room to answer it.

"Hello Mr. Leens," I greeted.

"Layla! The video reviews are amazing! People are loving you and Nathan! People loved the surprise last night!" He was very excited.

"Yes, they do. What exactly is this call about sir? I've got a little more polishing to do before the album release."

"Oh don't worry about that! Everything sounds amazing! We actually want to put it out sooner! Like next week. So pack your bags, you're flying to America tonight to start doing interviews." I gasped hearing those words.

"No, sir, I really don't think that's a good idea. There are a couple of songs that I really want to polish a little more." I was nerves now, I don't think I'm ready for all of this. I don't think my songs are ready.

"They're perfect Layla. Your team is going over them now. But here is the best part! Nathan is going with you! You're going to promote your album and the new single at the same time. You'll be singing the single on national television! Get moving!" The call ended and I was standing in my room in shock. I really wasn't ready for all of this. I wasn't sure how long I was standing there when I heard an excited shout from the living room and a knock on my door soon after.

"Layla! Can you believe it?" Nathan came almost running through the door stopping when he saw me. "Are you okay?" He asked resting a hand on my arm.

"I- Uh. I'm nerves. I don't know if the album is ready and they're already going to move up the release date! I don't know if I'm ready to sing on national television! They seem to be trying to push a relationship between us to the fans but I don't really know about that. I'm freaking out Nathan, this is all coming way faster than it was meant too." I ran a hand through my hair and began to pace around my room.

"Layla, hey, it's going to be okay. I'll be right there with you. Don't worry." Nathan pulled me into his arms giving me a reassuring smile. "I've got you. Just trust me." He said resting his forehead on mine.

"Okay, I trust you," I whispered closing my eyes and enjoying the feeling of being in his arms. Maybe everything will be okay. I can only hope so.
