Today was the day that I was going to work with Zedd on a song for my album, today is also the day that the music video for my single is coming out so I'm going to be doing a live steam to watch it with everyone when it comes out. I'm more focused and excited for working with Zedd on a song I already have a few ideas that I want to see if he's interested in.

"Fifteen minutes until the stream is live Layla," Raven says leaning into the studio. I smile at her giving her a thumbs up sending a tweet out on my twitter reminding everyone to tune in.

@laylasage: Stream is going live in 15 everyone! Make sure you tune in and watch my new music video for the first time live with me!

Replies flood in making me smile, one that catches my eye over the others.

@laceylovelace: Can't wait for it girl! We're sitting on the couch at home so ready!

Attached was a picture of her and Nathan sitting on the couch in one of their flats with popcorn and the computer on Nathan's lap. They looked so happy, it broke my heart but I knew better, they were friends and I knew that. It still stung.

"Hey, am I too early?" I look up seeing Zedd in the doorway to the studio.

"No! You're fine! My stream was just about to start to see my music video for the first time, I wanted to watch it with everyone." I said standing to my feet walking over to him.

"Oh, I can come back in like half an hour if you want." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"NO! Stay, it'll be great. Come sit with me, we're about to start. People will love it see you." I grabbed his hand pulling him over to the couch with me.

"If you're sure." He smiles sitting next to me. I make sure everything for the stream is ready.

Taking a deep breath and click the start button. "Hey everyone! How is everyone, excited? So am I! Oh and look I have a very special guest!" I waved looking over at Zedd.

"Hi everyone!" He grinned waving at the stream.

"Okay, who's ready for this video? Ten seconds!" I exclaimed. This was going to be amazing.

"Thank you so much for coming everyone! It was so much fun! Keep watching! Let's get it trending on YouTube and everywhere else! Bye now!" I closed the stream and couldn't stop beaming. It was so amazing and everyone loved the video.

"That was amazing. And I thought concerts were crazy." Zedd said from next to me. I almost forgot that he was here.

"Yeah, my fans are pretty great." I smiled. "So do you wanted to get to work?" I asked moving over to the piano. He grinned joining me.

"Do you have any idea's you want to bounce off of me? I've got some for you too."

"I do!" I grabbed my little book of songs flipping to the pages of songs that I had written just for this moment. He grabs the book from me looking through the pages before stopping on one that I wasn't done with.

"They're all amazing, what is this one?" He says setting the book on the piano looking at the cords I wrote down. He began to play them, they sounded so much better when he played them.

"I haven't finished this one, I just started it this morning really." I shrugged humming the few lyrics that I had.

"Well, you have an idea and I like it. So why don't we see where it goes?" He smiles continuing to play. I nodded as he restarted the cords I had.

Waiting for the time to pass you by
Hope the winds of change will change your mind
I could give a thousand reasons why
And I know you, and you've got to

That was all that I had written, but my mind kept going, it was amazing.

Make it on your own, but we don't have to grow up
We can stay forever young
Living on my sofa, drinking rum and cola
Underneath the rising sun
I could give a thousand reasons why
But you're going, and you know that

All you have to do is stay a minute
Just take your time
The clock is ticking, so stay
All you have to do is wait a second
Your hands on mine
The clock is ticking, so stay

All you have to do is
All you have to do is stay

Won't admit what I already know
I've never been the best at letting go
I don't wanna spend the night alone
Guess I need you, and I need to

Make it on my own, but I don't wanna grow up
We can stay forever young
Living on my sofa, drinking rum and cola
Underneath the rising sun
I could give a million reasons why
But you're going, and you know that

All you have to do is stay a minute
Just take your time
The clock is ticking, so stay
All you have to do is wait a second
Your hands on mine
The clock is ticking, so stay

All you have to do is
All you have to do is stay
All you have to do is stay
So stay, yeah

All you have to do is stay a minute
Just take your time
The clock is ticking, so stay
All you have to do is wait a second
Your hands on mine
The clock is ticking, so stay
All you have to do is stay

I don't know what just happened, I went from having a song that had half of a verse to having one that was completely finished. It felt like there was no effort put into it. There was though, my emotions put so much into that song, my body just took over and I couldn't believe it. I hadn't opened my eye but when I did Zedd was sitting there smiling at me and I still couldn't believe what had just happened.

"And you said it wasn't finished, but I think I was done all along." He pulled me into a hug. "It was always done you just couldn't write it down. But we should start now." He said grabbing my book shoving it into my hands. I grabbed my pen remembering everything as he began to play the toon again grabbing his laptop starting a mix for it. Is it a little early to say this might just be my next single?

"So, do you think it'll be a chart topper?" I asked without thinking.

"Of course it will be. You're the next big thing in music, and I'm already big, we're going to kick everyone's asses." He grinned playing the beat back that he just made.

"Can you up the treble on that just a bit?" I asked listening to it. He clicks a few keys before playing it again. "Perfect."

"You do just about everything don't you?" He smiles at me.

"Maybe." I winked looking back at my book. He's so nice and amazing to work with. I hope we stay friends after we finish this song.
