Chapter 11

"Are you sure about this?" Nathan asked me as I sat him down at the piano.

"I'm positive. Now shut up for a second while I fix this." I told him making sure that the camera was focused. Nathan looked shockingly nervous. I looked at my laptop making sure that the tracking was set for when I pressed play. I check the microphone making sure that it was ready to record.

"Okay, you ready?" I asked giving him a smile.

"No." He laughed.

"You'll be fine. It's like making any other video. Don't worry about it." I told him sitting down next to him for a minute on the piano bench. I grabbed his hand, giving him a smile. "It's just like normal. We're just sitting here making music." I kissed his cheek quickly before standing back up walking over to the camera. I started recording before starting the backing track. I gave Nathan a nod for him to start.

I walked into the frame sitting down next to Nathan on the bench.

When we finished I felt Nathan press his lips to my cheek before I could stand up to stop the recording. I'm questioning if I'm going to cut that last part out or not. 

"So now what?" Nathan asked later on after the video had posted.

"We wait." I said closing my laptop. I posted on twitter about the new video. We sat and talked for a little while before the emails and notifications started blowing up my phone.

"Popular much?" Nathan asked watching my phone. I opened my laptop opening YouTube. 

"With you in this video, probably." I told him looking at the comments.

"OMG Layla and Nathan are so cute together! And their voices mix so well! New OTP!"

"Can they just stop. Please? It's too perfect." 

"Nathan looks so hot in this video. Don't get me started on Layla, she looks amazing. Their voices are perfection, they should do more video together, or a song together now that Layla is signed to the same label as Nathan. I swear if they do a song together I will curl up in a ball and die. I know it will be perfection. Seriously new OTP. They need to be together. Like now." 

I laughed at all of the comments on the new video. I've never had comments like this before, well I'm had ones about how nice I looked or sounded in a video, but this is my like first collab with someone famous. So yeah, it's a little extreme. 

"Your fans are crazy." Nathan laughed looking at the comments over my shoulder.

"They aren't just mine, look at that one." I said pointing at a comment that was obviously one of Nathan's fans.

"I've been a fan of Nathan from the beginning when TW started. Watching him grow and become a solo artist is amazing. Now watching this collab with a random girl off of YouTube who just got signed to the same label as him, it's amazing. These two are perfect together. Layla has one of the most beautiful voices that I've ever heard, she blends with Nathan so well. I'm sure they'll end up doing a song together on one of their albums. It's also easy to see that there is a romance building."

"I think that person is a fan of both of us." Nathan said blushing.

"Yeah after she was already a fan of you." I laughed. We continued to read the comments on the video as they were posted laughing and smiling at them. I couldn't believe how well this video was doing. Then again, it was all thanks to Nathan. It wouldn't have done this well if it wasn't for him being in it.
