"Ms. Sage, it's so nice to meet you in person." Mr. Leens says when I open the door to his office."You too." I say as he takes my arm pulling him over to his desk.
"So today, all we want to do is sign papers. No worrying about music or anything like that. We just want to get you signed onto the company and let you meet your team." He said pulling out papers.
"Team?" I asked.
"Yes, your team. You'll have a couple of them, a marketing and a producing team, I'll be running both of them. You'll meet with your marketing team once before you start work on your music. You'll meet with your production meet everyday. They'll help you with all of you musical problems and needs. They'll become your family most likely. You'll get sick of them, but like you would your mother you need them." He explained putting five papers in front of me. I grabbed the first one reading it over quickly. I did that with each of them as he sat silently watching me as I did.
"Okay." I said picking up the pen he had put in front of me. I signed each paper quickly before looking back up at him. "Now what?"
"Let's meet your production team." He said motioning to the door. I nodded following him out of his office and down the hall to an empty studio. He opened the door and when I walked in five people sat on the black leather couches.
"Layla Sage meet your production team." Mr. Leens says. The five people stand up smiling at me.
"I'm Leo, I mostly fun the recording booth, but I also write, so whenever you want to pump something call me. I pretty much live here, so I'm always available." The first man who had to be at least 6 foot said. He had black hair that was a mess but I think he wanted it like that.
"Adam, I mostly write, but whenever you need fashion help, call me." The man with brown hair that was braided back said. Shockingly a braid looked good on him.
"I'm Lucy, don't listen to Adam, he sucks at fashion that is what I'm for. I also play guitar." Lucy, the blond girl smiled at me.
"Raven, I play bass and keyboard." Well she was to the point. Raven had jet black hair, matching her name perfectly.
"And I'm AJ, I play drums, write, and help produce everything with Leo." AJ had short dirty blond hair smiled. I think he's friends with just about everyone, and probably has a lot of bad jokes.
"Layla Sage, but please just call me Layla. I sing, play guitar, and well a little bit of everything. I can't wait to work with all of you. I hear you're the best." I smiled at them. Mr. Leens never said that, but I'm trying to make friends here.
"Well on Friday how about we do a video for your YouTube channel. So we can all get to know each other and see how we work." Leo said. I forgot to ask if I could even still do my YouTube channel.
"I am allowed to post video on my channel right? Like covers and stuff like that?" I asked Mr. Leens.
"Of course. That's where you're fanbase is right now, how else are they going to keep up with you?" He laughed. I smiled with a sigh of relief. I was so worried. I don't know what I would do without my YouTube channel. It's where my roots are.
"Well I think Friday is a deal. How about Thursday we all get together and start working on it? Pick a song and everything else."
"Deal." They all smiled.
"Awesome." I grinned back. I stuck my hand out looking at them. "Hands in." He all grinned putting there hands on mine. "On three."
"One!"
"Two!"
"THREE!" I shouted and we all raised out hands cheering. This is going to be great.
